I would like to nominate Daz and Baz for a WOW award they were the contractors who came out to fix our leak.They were friendly and kept us fully up to date throughout the repair in conditions made diificult by the snow.They also replaced the lead pipe which had been concerning us.They were neat and tidy and left the driveway in its original state.Both me and my partner are more than happy with their work

People normally only complain these days about the standard of service so I thought it would be good to thank you. I only emailed on Monday about a sewer drain problem.( your ref K412721) I received a reply the same day, and despite the snow, by Wednesday someone had been out and hopefully resolved it. I then received a detailed email from Philip, not only telling me what had been done, but that I was also entitled to compensation. Its now Thursday, Ive received a letter from Philip apologising for the leak ( even though it wasnt really anyones fault) and the promise of the compensation within 10 working days. Im actually pleasantly stunned by the prompt service and that what was promised to be done, has been done in a shorter time that I expected. Many thanks

DrainsAid recently completed an excavation as part of a DG5 Other Casues Capital Scheme (Troy Road, Morley)The job was very complex and had to be excavated by hand. The job took 2 weeks to complete and throughout the job they experienced adverse weather conditions (snow/rain/cold temperatures). The job was carried out to a very high standard and the end result has meant the gardens of the 6 properties involved have been massively improved.The 2 lads that completed the job deserve a lot of praise.

Baz and Daz attended a leak at our property - 39 Oversley Street, Sheffield S9 1SS - on Friday 11th January. I was at work but my husband was at home to ensure access. He is unwell with heart and lung disease and is unable to work, and also advised not to lift. Baz and Daz were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. They moved heavy plant containers in the front garden, refusing offers of help (rightly so!!!!!), moved items in the kitchen to access the cellar and put everything back where it needed to be. They were friendly, courteous and professional. My husband was immensely grateful and really impressed - sorry I missed then now! Thanks chaps - youre fabulous.

After being told this morning that someone else woulr needed to be called out to dig a bigger place for the meter to be placed and then recieve a phone call advising me that someone would be on their way within the hour was very unexpetected but overwelming. These two very kind men had travelled from hornsea area to my house in hull in these cold and wintry conditions to place my water meter. Not many workmen would have done this in these conditions and i am very greatful to them for this. They was both very professional anx efficent. Unfortunally i did not get their names but if its possible to identify them from the job number ( 15160575 )then please pass on my thanks and nominate them both on my behalf.

These guys turned up first job bright and early on probably the coldest, iciest, windy, snowy day (18/01/13) we probably have had in my area this winter I did doubt whether or not anyone would turn up at to fix a bad supply leak at my home and to do this they had to dig out a hole in my front garden right on the wall of my house in horrible arctic conditions, from the get go they were entirely committed to the task at hand and without a pause in their pace cracked on with the job. They were extremely polite and cheerful which is always a pleasure considering how stressed the leak had made me, they got the job done in what I would say was a very efficient manner regardless of the weather and and without any damage to my wall when the job was over and the hole was back filled, it was probably tidier than when they started, bonus. Very impressed with this service they made it so stress free for me and put me at ease, whilst they were probably frozen to the bone. It was a genuine pleasure friendly and professional. Jonathan Wagner arrived within the designated time slot (between 8am and 12 noon on the 18th January) My property is very old. I only moved in just before Christmas and do not know the location of the stop tap. Your operator was very helpful and advised me that it could well be hidden behind units etc. As a single occupant and only living in the property part time due to helping to care for my father in his home, I was advised that I would be eligible for an assessed charges agreement. This is a preferable arrangement for me and I was pleased to be given this option. Mr Wagner was polite and helpful and I wish to nominate him for the "WOW" award. Regards, Jackie Mason

Job Ref 15148448Mr. Hill managed to identify in which direction the drain ran (previously unknown). He then proceeded to unblock the drain and cleared up effectively. This was achieved in sub zero conditions. He was polite and kept me informed of developments. An excellent job.

No words could ever thank you for your quick response to my phone call. The work gentleman that came out were kind, understanding, reassuring and helpful, impeccable and just so lovely. Everyone from first rining for help have been wonderful. I have been really ill and in great pain, hence the delay in returning this letter, and that is why I cant thank you enough for the service I have received each time. K400557-4 cust wanted to praise Phil Atkinson (lumsden & carroll) he said the job was done quickley and efficiently and was clearly explained to the customer. Customer said this kid is fantastic and is definetly one for the future

Damon fitted us a water meter today and was fantastic from start to finish. For example, took his shoes off without me asking, crawled in a small space behind my washer, quickly fitted the meter, asking at every point are you ok if I do this step. He even swept out the cupboard and took the debris away with him. All through this he was extremely pleasant and chatty. As an older person it gives me faith in the younger generation to meet people such as Damon. He is a real ambassador for Yorkshire Water advising me how the costs are made up and even about the monitoring equipment to detect whether water supplies have been tampered with. The world would be a better place if everyone was so pleasant.

Jonathan came to fit our water meter Wednesday 9th January 2013. He was very efficient, pleasant, considerate and informative telling me what would happen regarding a rebate, how our meter would be read remotely and that we could also supply our own meter readings on line. when he left I was feeling very confidant that we had made the right choice in opting for metered water

I would like to nominate Dave Jackson for the Wow awards. He was very polite and courtious, he not only moved everything from under my sink unit but he put everything back, he made sure everything was clean and tidy when he had finished fitting my water meter. I have a disability and upon general conversation he offered his help to move a tv for me which was causing me a disturbance. Dave Jackson went out of his way to help above and beyond his duty of installing a water meter, for this I would like to nominate him for the Wow awards as I feel he deserves the awards. Mr Brannan came today to unblock the drain running at the back of several properties. He explained what he had to do and why, and did it with a minimum of fuss.The blockage was soon cleared and we are now in a much better position. Thank you all very much for your swift action.

She advised he was marvellous, wonderful and did a brillliant job. She said he tried so hard to clear it and took a very long time in doing so, stating that he tried and tried until it went dark outside but with no luck so he said he will send an email for a job to be doneas priority and the tanker was with her on xmas day. Custoemr is exceptionally pleased with our level of service
