Our next door neighbourd had a leak in their mains water supply which flooded our basement on Saturday 21 October. I contacted Yorkshire Water on Monday 23 October and was greeted by an extremely efficient, polite and pleasant person who took details and promised a response within two hours. Within 20 minutes we had a call back and another efficient and pleasant person told us in detail what would happen and by 12.00 hours a young man from YW was at the door. He too was most efficient and impressive and quickly identified a leak and told us what would happen next. On Tuesday 24 October Dean and his mate J Packer turned up and solved the leak with the minimum of fuss and mess. Our basement is now dry. Fantastic service. Cantpraise your whole team enough.

Friday 21 Oct it became obvious that Chellow WTW could possibly run out of a critical chemical (Polyelectrolite AH912SEP/25) and I was tasked with finding out which other site used exactly the same product code / strength. I rung Sean who adv that stock on site where he was did not match so he drove to Ewden where he knew they used the product and confirmed that they had it in stock and that there was enough for Chellow to borrow 20 bags that were required until the delivery at Chellow was received the following week. For going the extra mile I think Sean should be nominated for a WOW award.

He was very friendly, efficient, also a good attitude, hes a very able, reiable worker. Good work deserves a praise.

Succeeded in clearing a blockage in drains despite the fact that two of the manholes involved were inaccessible. The blockage affected an extensive system and had overflowed onto both the footpath and the road. Also cleaned up the area on completion.Job No. 134915940010

I want to nominate Jonathan Wagner, he was punctual, very knowledgeable about the service, extremely tidy after fitting the meter, and explained all about the installation etc in crystal clear language, which is something I personally appreciate, after only just finding out where the stop cock was in the kitchen.!! LOL. Very efficient, and no hesitation in recommending him.

I have been having work done outside my house to fix a leak and James has updated me every day without any prompting from me and sorted out any issues I have had. I am used to having to chase constractors so this has been such a refreshing change. James is a credit to H20I have been very impressed with everyone I have spoken to at Yorkshire Water. The customer service has been wonderful.

The chaps turned up on a grey, wet, miserable, cold day on time; I was expecting them to be on the late edge of the 08:00-10:00 timeframe Id been given. Straight away they were professional, courteous and happy - despite the grim weather. The problem turned out to be less straightforward than we were expecting. Regarless, they carried on, in the rain, identifiying potential problem areas until they found the source of the problem. Once identified, they cracked on and sorted it in no time, with attention to detail and no short cuts. Im used to dealing with tradesmen and utility companies and to be honest there isnt often an occasion that goes by without a problem or complaints. Im thankful to Lee and Ray for sorting this and being true professionals. Thank you!

Nomination is for Andy Burns. We had been very disappointed with the previous visit from a different Yorkshire Water representative (who had come to test the water supply, but left without actually testing it). We then contacted Yorkshire Water to complain and ask for someone else to come. This turned out to be Andy Burns (on 24th Oct). He was very helpful and informative, identifying that we have lead pipes and advising on how these could be removed. We really appreciated his visit, which repaired the PR damage made by the previous representative - thanks Andy!

Was very helpful, was on time and did the job very quickly and efficiently.

Cm called to praise the efforts of Adam Sargent & Craig who attended her property today. She said they have worked extremely hard and found the cause of the ongoing problem with tthe supply. Requested that this be passed on to their supervisor and she will also be writing to YW to praise them. J639567-4

the above person visited our property today to install a water meter, I was suprised and pleased that as a pensioner the first thing he showed us was his work card. he carried the work out without any fuss and left everthing tidy. We found him very pleasant and very helpful and with this in mind we would like to nominate Jonathan Wagner .

phil atkinson lumbsden+carroll .phil came to our house sunday 16th november .we had a horrible smell coming from the back of the washer .he had a good look around and found the problem instantley.phil was very pleasant and did a great job unblocking the drain .me and the wife were well impressed .thanks phil job well done.mick +rachel

Craig called at my house at 6.15 in the evening 20.10.11, even with diminishing light conditions he stayed until the problem was sorted ( He could have said they would call tomorrow due to poor light and I would have accepted that) it was pitch black when he finished and then he said that as we had children he would disinfect the patio where the manhole cover was after he had released the blockage . It is very rare i find myself praising an individual who has " Gone the extra mile" but this individual deserves it. I am a 55 year old retired managing director who eighteen months ago sold his company. I wished some of my employees had the same work ethic Craig has.

Nigel quickly found the problem blockage in the drains and successfully cleared the it, then took extra care to find the reason for the blockage which was some minor roots which he managed to break up using the jet tool giving me the confidence having seen it all on camera that not only was the immediate problem solved but it was not going to reoccur.

These two engineers came to fix a leak in the supply pipe at our house yesterday (S10 3HB) and did a first class job. They explained everything they were doing, diagnosed the problem, fixed it and reinstated the ground so that it looked as if nothing had been dug up. Importantly, when coming into the house to check the pipes in the cellar, they removed their boots. They left the site spotless and we were delighted with their personal and professional service - well done to them!

Barry came to re-tarmac a piece of road outside my house today. He was very friendly, explained what work he was doing, and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Well done Barry.

Jonathan Wagner fitted my meter this morning. He was efficient, pleasant, gave me all the information I needed. A thoroughly good job. Thank you, Jo Martin
