Recent nominations

I have written, emails and phone records dating back to April 2007 reporting what I believed to be a water leak near the water tower in Askern. I have brought in other departments in the Doncaster MBC to check the site and report to YW on my behalf if they supported my suspicisions and they have. The footpath has been flooded and frozen throught the winter months, the tarmac has been wet, often flooded and the grass verges a quagmire even in 90 degrees in the shade in the summer months. Earlier this year I did finally manage to get a site meeting and received an email to say a leak had been found and it would be repaired but that unfortunately came to nothing. Then by chance in September I met John Morris of the East Field Team on site going about his business. I told him the potted history, he explained that because it was not within his remit he would need to make enquiries therefore it may take longer than expected but he would certainly do his best. Almost immediately he sent me an email with a reference No and followed that up with regular phone calls keeping me up to date with progress. The water was tested, a leak was confirmed and today he rang to say the pipe had been repaired and the team were clearing up. He deserves every reward going, his customer liasing was faultless, the speed and efficiency by which he investigated and resolved the matter has been second to none, everyone in all the departments in the DMBC that were involved are truely impressed and support my nomination for the WOW award 100%. J777356-3. Service received by Drains Aid was first class. A young lady called Josie and the tech Martin were pleasant, humerous and efficient. In terms of customer relations they take some beating.

he arrived within 1 hour of my call was friendly well mannered and easy to talk to to explain the problem he was fast and effective with job carried out so much better than the council i would still be waiting for them by the end of this week a job well done mr brannan.:)

please pass on my thanks both andy robinson and matt G for the work they carried out at my home today . they came to renew a broken stop tap and located a pin hole in my service pipe as it went under the the house they help by digging a bit more towards the house while i got a plumber out to drill a hole from inside my house into there excavation and pushed a piece of mdpe through . the time and effort that both andy and matt put into a very difficult job was outstanding and the site was left immaculate . again first class customer service please pass on my thanks.

J763877-1 Dear Sir /madam I am just writint to thank the help i recieved from your technician Claire Riley, thanks to her efficient and very professional work she was able to detect what was causing the flooding f our cellar of which the council could not detect despite numerous dye tests etc etc ect but Claire using her ineciative and skills and detective skills found the cause to be a neighbours washing machine hoked to a disconnected drain, this had been causing us a great deal of anxiety and inconvenience so we are most grateful to Claire for her help and professionalism hence taking time to write to thank her

Dale did a fantastic job in dealing with the raw sewage escaping from a manhole at the side of our property. He not only dealt with the blockage but also did an amazing job in clearing up the sewage which had escaped not only on to our property but also onto the public pavement and road outside. A very proffessional job that wowed me on the 24/11/11.

jamie and steve worked tirelessly to fix our drains,working late into the night returning at 8am to ensure the work was completed, very friendly and helpful left everything tidy a credit to yorkshire water.

Simon attended our adress on Sunday 27th November 2011 to investigate blocked drains to several properties adjacent to S12 4NA. Not only was Simon professional and courteous but he took the time to map our drains for future reference and explain how the drainage system worked and how we could help ourselves to avoid problems in the future. From start to finish the whole of the Yorkshire Water staff and problem solving capabilities has been second to none. Thank you very much for all your efforts.

Visited us tonight after our cellar flooded, he did an expectional job and doubled the drains, cleaned and drained the cellar extremley well. He was very helpful and hard working. Job ref: 13607175

These 2 guys connected us in 1 day against all the odds. (traffic control lights late arriving, tree roots hampering the mole.) Well done, much appreciated.

Andy & Matt 13583571 carried out an installation of the new bluetooth water meter at my propoerty which required them to dig down 1.3m in my fron garden.They did a great job but most importantly let me know exactly what they were doing and when. Following the job they did a great job at replacing all the earth and turf.A job very well done!!

Craig was fantastic. Even though he couldnt solve my problem he did everything he could to help me. He went out of his way and I could tell he was disappointed that he couldnt help more, but he really could not have done anything else. A real credit to your company.

date 21/12/11 incident (blockage) reference number 13683386 We have had numerous people out to the blockage but steve in question was the most helpful and he thoroughly explained the situation. He arrived on time and was very curtious at all times. He explained the problem and his findings and said he would report back with his recommendations and findings, I would have no problem recommending his professionalism.

J825364 - WHAT A GREAT JOB HAS BEEN DONE!

Ref 13693425: From 11.30 am on 23/12, I had severe flooding into my cellar rooms. After reporting the matter to Yorshire Water, it took my family a very long time battling with the flood water before the sewage technician was able to attend to the problem. I would like to nominate Craig Brannan for dealing with the internal flooding problem at my property calmly, efficiently and very fast. He explained clearly to me what he was going to do and how he would do it. He quickly established the blockage was in the public mains drainage and immediadiately contacted his colleagues to bring sewage truck to unblock the drains. He then embarked on pumping out the flood water from my cellar without creating more mess to my property. Although the truck took a long while before they were able to attend Craig stayed around to ensure that all my flood problem was totally dealt with before he could go. I am grateful for his caring nature, his sense of responsibility and his commitment to duty.
