Paul was working in YO43 but agreed to come over to HU9, out of his way, to sort the drains out for our terrace of houses and not only got the blockage cleared very quickly and efficiently (the rubbish he took out was most unsavoury indeed) he then tested that all was OK and cleaned and disinfected the public area around the manhole and made it safe and clean before leaving. His attitude was very helpful and he genuinely seemed happy to have helpedthanks for the serviceALK

I would actually like to compliment all of the people I have dealt with recently at Yorkshire water. From my initial phone call, answered straight away (no recoreded messages and options), the engineer who came out on a sunday and the lady who called to ask if everything was to my satisfaction. In an age where customer service only seems to exist in a company policy statement how refreshing to be dealt with so professionally and politely. K253608-10-- Spoke to a lady from the council who was on site with Dave Warley and she advised he did his job perfectly, he was wonderful and deservs a gold medal. He took the time to speak with Mr and Mrs Bury who are an elderly couple. Mrs Bury was very frustrated at the time but after Dave went through everything clearly and had the greatest of respect for the tech for going the extra mile

MR SLATER ARRIVED ON TIME WAS VERY PLEASANT AND OBLIGING AS WE WERE IN THE PROSSESS OF MOVING HOMES WHICH IS A STRESSFUL TIME ,LOTS OF COMPLICATIONS ARISING, WORKMEN NOT TURNING UP AND IF THEY DO, NOT DOING A PROPER JOB. WHEN MR SLATER ARRIVED WE HAD TO TELL HIM THE STOP TAP HAD BEEN BROKEN OFF BY COUNCIL WORKMEN AND NOT REPAIRED .STRIAGHT AWAY HE GOT IT REPAIRED AND THE METER INSTALLED.HE ALSO GAVE US SOME TIPS INCASE OF FROZEN PIPES .OUR METER WAS FITTED ON THE 23/10/12 AND WE WAS ABLE TO MOVE IN ON THE 27TH THANKS TO MR SLATER AS THE COUNCIL WOULD NOT COME OUT TILL THE 31ST TO REPAIR IT.

Gary, Lee and all staff working on Wood Lane at Hipperholme. Above first class customer service - They are extremely considerate, always happy and great team of guys. Its a very narrow lane, but I have never had to wait for them to move a vehicle, they never get cross if they do have to move something so that I can get passed. Massive thanks to them, just cant praise them enough. Its beautifully organised and Wendy is also brilliant to deal with. Thank you to everyone.

Your contractors have been working on lane ends green hipperholme halifax hx3 for the passed 4 weeks. The guys have been particularly helpful, pleasant and friendly. We ve had regular updates on whats been happening and water supplied in case our water was cut off. 29/11/12 Having had water gushing from our water meter on the pavement for over 5hours in freezing condition these 2 travelled some 40 miles and did an excellent job digging and stopping the flow of water.Conditions were terrible but they never never moaned in anyway and they were so polite and helpful. very hard to put into words but brilliant

We want to thank Martin for the very friendly and competent manner he went about unblocking the sewer at our Kingdom Hall in Doncaster on Saturday afternoon. After unblocking the sewer he investigated the cause of the blockage and spent time in cutting away fine roots making sure the water could run freely into the main sewer. As we had a number of different congregations (+-300 people) using the hall over the weekend, we needed to have this problem attended to ASAP and we want to thank Martin and the Yorkshire Water staff who I communicated with on Saturday in arranging that this job be escalated to being repaired on the day. Ian was with us within half an hour of us calling after finding we had no water supply in the house. He was polite, friendly and sympathetic of our situation. He was able to diagnose our problem quickly and effectively to being the internal stop cock which had become blocked with debris in the tap. He helped with fixing the problem and was able to quickly restore water to our home. Ian is a credit to you and fine ambassador for YW. Im sure he is a welcome face to many of your customers in need. He should be commended for his commitment to customer service.

Ref ICE no. K343210-1 Dec 2012 Very impressive service all round, from the lady who answered the phone all down the line. Delighted to have someone attend so quickly, and Mr Parsons was very helpful and informative, working cheerfully and efficiently in nasty subzero conditions, locating and digging out the stopcock serving our property and arranging for speedy repairs when it proved to be broken. I am also delighted that the stopcock has now been moved to a much more sensible location, and is water-meter-ready should we decide on that option. You hear a lot of complaints about utility companies these days, but in this case your service was excellent.
