I had an issue with my meter and had called on 3 occasions having to speak to different people each time and to no avail. I had also sent an email to Customer Services and received a call from Lisa just when I was feeling I was getting nowhere. Lisa arranged for an inspection and replacement meter, she also kept in contact the whole time through emails, letters and phone calls. She eventually resolved my problem quickly and in a more than satisfactory way. I feel that the service I received from Lisa was above and beyond any service I have received from this or any other company. She was very friendly yet at the same time professional and made me feel confident that she would do everything she could to help me. I think Lisa is a credit to Yorkshire Water and would like her to receive some recognition for this.

This is on behalf of my mother who is your customer. It is to thank you for the excellent service when my mothers water meter was upgraded on 15 April. The lady who dealt with my telephone call to make the arrangements was both friendly and efficient and I was able to make a convenient appointment without trouble. The gentleman who carried out the upgrade was punctual, efficient and also friendly. This probably how things should always be but often are not with many organisations. My mother is now 93 and still able to live independantly with my support and I really appreciate co-operation like this because otherwise, a small matter can quickly get out of proportion. I always try to be there when anything like this is done, which is why convenient appointments are so important. Thanks again to those concerened for ensuring the happiness of an old lady. Two colleague visited today to investigate blocked soil pipe and drains at my residence and my neighbour.I cannot commend them highly enough for there professional expertise in rectifying the problem. My soil pipe is actually internal to my garage and there was a very high potentail for contamination due to the layout of our drains, no one so fit to install man holes so jetting had to be done in side the garage, although there was some spillage this was kept to an absolute minimum the attension to detail in clearing up was a credit to your operatives.

I am writing to commend the men who have been involved in the works on West Road, Melsonby. They have been courteous, helpful and extremely well organised throughout. We have had very effective liaison through Maurice who has kept us informed all through the project. The men have been extremely helpful to both my school and also local residents. Throughout the project they have always had the n eeds of the community uppermost in their minds and even though their work necessitated cordoning off large areas of a small road ther has been a minimum disruption caused. I would like to give Colin Boswell a big thank you for being persisted and dogged as he was down the manhole. Some 3 hours but he would not let it beat him. Colin is a CCTV operator and could easily have walked away and waited for someone else to arrive to get in the manhole to clear the blockage. Can we make sure he gets a big pat on the back which he deserves.

They were very helpful and polite, leaving my front garden very tidy and one of them even removed a dead rat from my greenhouse which was worrying me. this person came to fix a problame that three different company could not fix i was charged a total of £375 from them but john from yorkshire water went way over his job to fix the problame for my family. i really am very greatfull to yorshirewater and john very less people will pick a manhole with bricks full of because of the back pain. but he did not complain he just got on with it.

Wed 24th April 2013 We had a new water supply and water meter fitted at our property today. The team arrived on time and the way they prepared the site, before they even set about any work, was very professional. The work meant we had to have traffic lights outside our house and a pavement, which would have been obstructed, made accessible. We were very impressed with their attitude, not only to their work, but to us the customers. They explained everything to us and liaised with other builders we had on site. They were charming, polite and and hard working. The whole job was completed by 2pm and they made sure the site was safe and unobstructed before leaving. Congratulations on a brilliant team.

Lisa explained what happened with the water at my home, credited me with cheque to cover any water and inconvenience. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to say how pleased we are at the way your team of workers have replaced the water pipe through the village. They have had to work in the most awful of weather conditions yet they have completed the work with very little disruption to residents. The relevant holes have been filled in tidily and with care. Having spoken to the workmen from time to time we would like to say how friendly they were always having time to explain what they were doing and why. He is a young man not afraid to get his hands dirty (literally) and get stuck in. He is courteous, again a trait not often found nowadays, and is conscientious and dilligant to detail.
