Just a line to thank you for your persistance. Yesterday YW engineers arrived and removed a large piece of waste concrete from the sewer in Main Street. Mr Wilson has kept the offending object as a souvenir and was delighted with the thoroughness of the operation. The men even waited for a camera van to arrive and check the sewer before they left.Thank you once again, I really feel that without your help this problem would have been left until the houses had flooded for a third time.

I received a txt telling me that a technician was on their way at 8:14 . He arrived approx 30 minutes later was very pleasant and knowledgable about what he was going to do for us which was to fit a water meter. He did his job very efficiantly then explained how to take a meter reading we then read and signed the acceptance form .We were very pleased with the service provided , thankyou very much . T Penrose

I rang 08451243434 as I received a letter informing me of an increase of water usage ?leak. My first thoughts were a massive bill unfortunately I had the weekend to stress about this. Bronwyn immediately put my mind at rest on Monday and organised another meter reading and gave me a rough idea of the price increase and gave me a time and date when she would ring again and she did. Mr. Lawn was a most charming and helpful person. He carried out the final work required to clear our drains from roots and other findings in a pleasant and efficient manner. In fairness he was the last of three who carried out the work over several visits, the penultimate being Gordon. I would have wished to nominate them all.

very friendly man. explained what he was doing. unblocked the drain. told us there was a problem with the drain just outside the property.this would be sorted within a month. very pleased with the results.

During an immensely long and very stressful incident which involved, initially, York City Council, and then eventually, Yorkshire Water when they took over, I spoke to many people, trying to persuade them that there was a problem with the drains outside my shop, The Good Food Shop in York. Finally, I was assigned Michelle Reynolds as my special contact and, whilst the job still took a very long time to be sorted, she went out of her way to be helpful. By this I dont mean that she just said "I understand" and all the other things you have been trained to say when dealing with complaints, but actually followed things up and returned calls. She even went as far as to say I could ring her when she was on holiday, which was well beyond the call of duty. I only wish you could get all your contractors to work together with the same degree of willingness - it really does make everyones life so much easier, even theirs. My heartfelt thanks.

19/03/2013.time 14.00hrs. Craig came out to my property to fit a water meter, he was a very pleasant young man he had a bit of a struggle to fit the meter as the pipes are behind a cupboard and next to the boiler, he go a few bruised ribs but he never complained he just got on with the job even though it was awkward. I would nominate him for a WOW and would recommend him to anyone.

I just wanted to say how effortless and stress free my installation of my water meter was today.Craig was very friendly, discussed the work he was doing at every stage which put my mind at rest.A lot of company’s these days micro manage their staff, show no interest in the customer or the customers view point, just in and out as quick as possible, not caring about the work being done.It was great to see that there are still people like Craig out there who care about the customer, putting them first, who take pride in the work they do.Fantastic job, highly recommended, thank you very much,Anthony.
