21780. Andy Seaward
Andy was incredibly friendly and professional from the start of his visit. He discovered the problem straight away and corrected it quickly. He also kept my husband and myself well informed with what the problem had been as well as how he was solving it. He also went to lengths to tidy up after himself. All in all, Andy was thoroughly pleasant to deal with and extremely helpful. If everyone was like him, the world would be a better place.

21792. Ryan Hamilton
Ryan did a first class job of fitting our new water meter. He was quick, informative and a pleasant attitude. The result was a very neat installation, exactly where we wanted the meter, and the meter worked first time with no leaks. Meter fitters are at the sharp end of your organisation and deal with us the customers daily. We couldnt have had someone with a better attitude towards both the job in hand and being an ambassador for Yorkshire Water, even if it had been the CEO. Although he or she probably wouldnt know how to fit a meter! Very pleased with the result.

21794. Dave Warley
Friday 20 April 2012, Snainton just outside Scarborough. I work for Scarborough Borough Council and have been investigating a sewage leak on High Street, Snainton and as i think it was a public sewer problem had specificaly asked for Dave Worleys assistance as he had recently looked at the problem. Unfortunately requesting specific people is not something that Lumsden and Carroll are happy with however Dave was sent. I have worked on many jobs with Dave and have always found him to be an asset to the company. Friday was no exception he was professional, knowledgeable, cheerful, helpful, and thorough. Again a huge asset to Yorkshire Water, again i would always make a point of asking for Dave to assist on jobs because i greatly value his input and assistance.

21796. Phil Atkinson
Phil Atkinson attended and cleared a blockage to a foul sewer on Woodlands Drive.All my contact on this issue has been excellent. I spoke to Val and Janet on the Yorkshire Water customer line, they dealt with my issues and questions clearly and helpfully. The company that were asked to attend the blockage called to let me know when they would be coming, as did Phil Atkinson on his way here. Phil was helpful and did a great job.Altogether an excellent service. Thank you to all involved.

21829. Richard Lawn
I would like to nominate Richard for first class service when investigating blocked surface water drainage on Leeds Road Selby on the evening of 24/4/12. Richard worked tirelessly to locate a blockage in the drainage line by ruling out different issues/drains to finally locate a blockage in a 7m stretch of pipe, unfortunately this was ina 450mm pipe which was too large for Richards Van to tackly so he arranged for a lorry to arrive the very next morning which had heavier equipment to try and unblock... Excellent Service from Richard and he very very imformative on the issue with is very reassuring for members of the public. Thanks again Richard!!

THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED PROMPTLY-IN FACT SLIGHTLY EARLY WHICH SUITED US. HE WAS COURTEOUS,KNOWLEDGABLE AND SLICK. HE COMPLETED THE JOB WITHOUT FUSS AND ON COMPLETION EXPLAINED FULLY WHAT HE HAD DONE. NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER. nO HESITATION IN COMMENDING RYAN FOR THE WORK HE HAS DONE AT OUR PROPERTY. mAKES A REFRESHING CHANGE-WOW!!!
