I am a Personal Assistant for a wheelchair using resident of Bankside Street where the watermain has recently been renewed by yourselves and Balfour Beatty. In the time that our street was due to be dug up and works done these guys and their team were exceptionally helpful and accomodating for the fact that we needed to keep our vehicle in front of the house in order to be able to take my employer to hospital appointments and in case of emergency transport. They communicated well and clearly when wed be needed to move the vehicle in order for actual digging etc and provided boards etc to cover over the trench allowing wheelchair access. Theyve been understanding, extremely helpful and friendly. These guys and their team definitely made us say "Wow!" and deserve this nomination. Please consider this a nomination and commendation for both named operatives. Their performance has been a pleasant surprise and is in stark contrast to the administration by your company as we received written notification of the work to be done a couple of weeks after it had been completed.

email rec regarding Ian Rowbotham, John Fletcher & Pete Greenhall..... On behalf of myself and my colleague Dave Kenyon, would you please pass on our praise and thanks to some members of H2Os staff, who were involved in a nightmare main repair on The Moor-Matilda Way, in Sheffield city centre last week.Firstly to H2O Supervisor Ian Rowbotham, always helpful and amenable, who managed to arrange a repair team to undertake the repair at short notice.Secondly, to the repair team, John Fletcher and his mate Pete, who did a fantastic job under very trying and difficult circumstances. For varying reasons, beyond Dave and my control, this team were required to repair a 6" burst under water, under mains pressure, and mostly by touch. After one failed attempt, in which they were let down by a faulty repair clamp, they were successful on the second attempt. More than anything, Dave and myself were impressed by their determination, CAN DO Attitude, and their understanding of the problems myself and Dave were encountering, which led to them having to work under such difficult circumstances in the first place.David HaslamSouth Pennine Distribution Team
