Our next door neighbourd had a leak in their mains water supply which flooded our basement on Saturday 21 October. I contacted Yorkshire Water on Monday 23 October and was greeted by an extremely efficient, polite and pleasant person who took details and promised a response within two hours. Within 20 minutes we had a call back and another efficient and pleasant person told us in detail what would happen and by 12.00 hours a young man from YW was at the door. He too was most efficient and impressive and quickly identified a leak and told us what would happen next. On Tuesday 24 October Dean and his mate J Packer turned up and solved the leak with the minimum of fuss and mess. Our basement is now dry. Fantastic service. Cantpraise your whole team enough.

Friday 21 Oct it became obvious that Chellow WTW could possibly run out of a critical chemical (Polyelectrolite AH912SEP/25) and I was tasked with finding out which other site used exactly the same product code / strength. I rung Sean who adv that stock on site where he was did not match so he drove to Ewden where he knew they used the product and confirmed that they had it in stock and that there was enough for Chellow to borrow 20 bags that were required until the delivery at Chellow was received the following week. For going the extra mile I think Sean should be nominated for a WOW award.

Thank you very much for my recently fitted water meter, and another reason for my letter is, the contactor who fitted the meter Steve Barnes. He was very friendly, efficient, also a good attitude, hes a very able, reiable worker. Good work deserves a praise.

Succeeded in clearing a blockage in drains despite the fact that two of the manholes involved were inaccessible. The blockage affected an extensive system and had overflowed onto both the footpath and the road. Also cleaned up the area on completion.Job No. 134915940010
