I am writing to express my gratitude for the support and help I received from Jude Bradshaw. I suffer from a number of health problems and Jude has been a key player in my recovery. She has been very understanding and has helped me to address a number of issues. Thanks Jude for your excellent support.

For being a fab manager and good leader to this centre. She is the most friendly person you could ever meet.

I would like to nominate Tracey because she is a fantastic manager and a wonderful person. She takes the time to know your children as well as knowing you. She has a passion, enthusiasm and commitment to the job she truly believes in.

The Crescent Childrens Centre is held together by Tracy. Everything works like clockwork under her leadership which was proved by an outstanding award in November 2011. Tracy will make time for anybody, remembering everybody and their children whick makes you feel so comfortable coming into the childrens centre.

I have been having great difficulty over the last 7 days to get someone to "own" my elderly parents issue of no heating and hot water in the house since the gas boiler broke down last Friday. I have been in contact with many organisations to get the help required, especially a quick result due to the bad weather and my Fathers illness.. From the moment I had contact with Sharon and the team, they gave me confidence they had the tools, and skills to deal and resolve the problem, kept me informed of the ongoing situation and excelled in providing a swift and amiable solution. As the statement of your Vision states... they excelled. Many Thanks to the Warm Zone team....*****... 5 star performance.

I visited the UK and Ireland in August and September 2011. Of all the visitor facilities I went to, I only visited one place twice and that was the Potteries Museum. The main reason was because of Pat Gater. Pat showed incredible enthusiasm and expertise for the Staffordshire Hoard and was able to pass on that enthusiasm to me. I do have a interest in Roman history and Pat re-ignited that in me. Nothing was too much trouble whether it was making sure that I could see the tiny details of the scabbards and jewellry or explaining how the Hoard was being prepared for display now and for the future. It was lovely to have such a good conversation with someone who didnt treat me like a tourist but engaged with me one-on-one. During 5 weeks of solo travel in your part of the world, Pat is the only person I would consider nominating for an award - and I do hope she receives it. Ive been singing her praises both to people I know and to the wider electronic travel community. Thanks, again, Pat - and Ill be back to see you later this year!

I would like to enter Tracy Jackson in for the wow award. As Tracy Jackson has done a wonderful job in the children centre for the last six years. Without Tracy Jackson we would not be where we are today as parents we have a lot to thank knowing that we have made new friends, having a place to go where we as parents can relax & enjoy the center. Without the center we would not know where we as parents could go for any help that we may need. When my family moved from London in to Stoke on Trent me, my husband & kids did not know anyone we had help from my kids going in to nursery before they went to school knowing that they will be safe so they were not alone.

Tracy Jackson OBE - Tracy is the heart of the children centre although she is very busy she still has time to speak to everyone and what makes its special is she knows everyone by name no matter how long they have been using the centre.

Members Support Team do a fantasic job in supporting Councillors with all kinds of queries and questions. They have just done alot of hard work in helping the City Council win the Charter Mark Award. It would be fantastic for the Team to be awarded a WOW Award for all their hard work.

This lady has changed so many lives, during her time at the Crescent Children Centre. The support and encouragement that she has given me in the last year has resulting in me applying for a vacancy within the children centres. 12 months ago I would never even consider going for such a role. She helps to bring out the best in you and your family x

Tracy is a wonderful person and really cares for each and every family who passes her path ...she deserves the award because she does a brilliant job with everything she puts her hand to ...and encourages people to do good things for others ...shes done alot for me ....she noticed that i werent around and took time to ask why ....and the reason i wasnt around is because i suffered with depression and now im happy and back using her centre with my newborn daughter thank you

"Tracy Jackson (OBE)" well with Tracy Jackson where do you start, she is loyal to her satff and is the same to the parents and children who uses the crescent childrens centre in meir her staff work hard along side her as one team parents as im one of them turn to her for help, guidance, support or even just a normal chat. every parents children smile when they walk in as they know its a safe place to play with Tracy and her team childrens centres would be nothing to us. At the crescent we call ourselves the crescent family named by parents but its not just the parents that are known as the family the staff and Tracy Jackson are to x

Tracy is hard working friendly and easy to approach for help she is a fantastic leader to all her staff and wonderful with all the parents that use the centre her hands on approach to the way the centre runs is second to none not only has she succeded in obtaining all centres she manages awards she has also received a OBE for her hard and dedicated work and because of this she has become more like a extended member of the family to us all we love the fact that we are all on first name basis and she wouldnt think twice to sit and have a cup of tea or something to eat on her lunch break and chat like we have known each other our whole life so for this reason i strongly feel Tracy more than deserves a WOW award thankyou for your time

Maz has rearranged her working days to accomodate the needs of Care UK and to work around a member of our admin team. This is VERY much appreciated and shows a real committment to her job role and her customers.She deserves a huge pat on the back.

The fantastic meals they prepare at the home (Abbots House) I have seen them myself and believe me they are cooked and presented as good as any restaurant or hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for them and no matter what you ask for they will do it for you. Even the simplest thing is presented nicely. They are absolutely brilliant and deserve one of your Wow awards.

All the staff have been helpful and kind. Marrow House is kept nice and clean. The kitchen staff have made a special effort to cater for my mums limited vegetarian diet. Marrow House offers a range of activities through the week in a modern up-to-date facility.

She made us feel welcome and put us at ease. She was courteous and very helpful.

For being helpful, kind and understanding with my Housing Benefit.

Whilst enquiring about my deceased mothers account number, Debbie pondered why I had been paying rates. I was advised I may be able to obtain a rebate if I spoke to an advisor. This I did and received a refund. I have visited previously and this was the first time this had been mentioned. So Debbie was most helpful.

Everybody that I have met over past few months in relation to new council property given to me in November. However Timothy Ashibende, exercised great assistance and patience with me. He is a real credit to yourselves and think other councils located around the country could benefit from copying your staff members attitude towards service users. Thanks Mark

I would like to nominate the Breastfeeding Cafe Team for their continual support, guidance, friendly approach and going the extra mile to help my daughter and I on a number of issues. They create a friendly and welcoming environment for all. Going the extra mile, special times to create themes - Christmas, Halloween, Teddy Bears Picnics etc.

Great service provided.

The staff here are all caring dedicated people who do all in their power to help, comfort and nurture the recovery of patients at the Meadows. I highly commend their work.

Professional, great attitude - dealt with problems with consideration.

They have worked with me and my family in every possible way, helping us in everything. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and everything has been done with thought for our best interests. I cant put into words, my thanks to them.

At first I declined the service due to me feeling so down in mood. With encouragement and patience, I am now attending two social groups every week. I am more confident and have new friends. I feel that Linda brought me out of my shell and treated me as a friend, encouraging me to take part in activities that I would never have done. Thank you so much.

Joy is one of the loveliest and genuine people you could have sent to work with me. I felt so at ease straight away. She is caring, helpful and makes you feel happy. She just brings a smile every time I see her. I know Im older than her but she made me feel like I was with a mum. When I felt a bit down she would put her arm round me, it was a hug I never had from my real mum. She is the best. A friend you would want for ever.

Pleased with the service, have enjoyed being there, it has been fun. I wish the staff a very Happy Christmas and New Year. Thank you.

I requested a licence to undertake a street collection, by phone on 8 December 2011. I needed to collect on 16 December. I took in the form and Sarah was kind enough to deal with the licence while I waited, which would enable me to organise my volunteers in good time, which was much appreciated as I thought I had left it too late.

I always get the best of service from all the staff, but it would be difficult to give service and help that she always gives so cheerfully. Thanks.

It is impossible to single out one person at Marrow House. All staff are very caring, helpful and pleasant in every way. When my mother, comes to stay she always enjoys her time there and we can have our break knowing she is being cared for.

It is impossible to pick out an individual person as they are extremely professional and friendly, caring people. We feel that mother is in a great environment when we leave her for short term respite.

In respect of Sharon I can only say she was just brilliant with my mum, so caring and understanding. It was nice to meet someone who listened to my points of view as well as my mums. Thank you Sharon, youre a star!

From the day I enetered the housing solutions premises with my son Adam, Dan has supported and helped and achieved more than either my son or myself could imagine in a short time period. Dan has always been at the end of the phone to answer any queries. He has helped with suitable emergency housing for my son who has had a brain injury leaving him vunerable and disabled. Dan has been so understanding and helpful and helped well beyond his role with housing benefit applications and advice, any verbal support he has been asked for he has given or signposted to the appropriate service. He deserves the WOW factor esp as within 5 weeks of my son being homeless he is now settled into a tenancy for the first time in his life he feels life is worth living and is looking towards the future. I am sure without Dans help he would not be where he is now A HUGE THANK YOU DAN :)

His manners are perfect. He is very patient and very understanding. He helped me with my Housing Benefit concerns, and he should get a pay rise and an award. Please give him both. He is a credit to the council.

Everyone I have met at Marrow House has been very nice and very caring. Marrow House is a lovely clean and comfortable place to stay and I enjoyed my respite there. I couldnt single anyone out. Everyone is lovely.
