For giving an excellent service to the clc community learning champions courses for Adult Education in the community. Kath has clearly introdued us to the concept and importance of becoming a CLC and has given us learners a lot of self confidence and good self esteem. We can help brighten peoples lives through community education which is offered by the CLC project and all connected. Thanks

Over the past month or so she has been extremely helpful in helping to ensure my rent is paid properly, Ive had to wait 4 weeks for a new reduced tax credit award, so I have accrued arrears. She let me call the DWP freephone number, to ask for a budgeting loan form to apply for help to pay off the arrears. Her advice and service is excellent

I would like to nominate the above named carer for a wow award for caring for Mr Clowes she is very thorough in all her work she is polite and couteous and makes Mr Clowes feel at ease (which is not easy) To look after someone of 88 years is not an easy job no task stands in her way so i think she deserves some recognition for her work

These 2 ladies have changed my life. They are the best women carers you could ask for. They are so polite, helpful and also help me with my mental health problem. They have coming for 6 weeks now and clean my feet as i cannot do it myself. They are always cheerful, smiling and bring a smile to my life. I would love to have money and would pay their wages for them to visit me just an hour a day, that hour they are here they lift my mood and are so easy to get on with. I reckon they would help alot of mentally ill people as well as physically ill. out of 10, i would give 11, i am going to miss them so much.

She made me feel very welcome and helped me to move forward.

The care and support they have given me and are very kind. I feel like they are my family. I would like to thank them so much, they have helped me in so many ways. I have been able to talk to them about my problems they have been lovely.

I have found all the girls very helpful, and professional, assisting me when needed and allowing me to regain my confidence again, to become as independent as i can be.

Maxine is always efficient, reliable and polite. Her professionalism is so great that whatever my views and opinions of other individuals who I feel are letting their side down, I would be doing Stoke City Council a great injustice if I were not to nominate Maxine for this award.Knowing that Maxine is dependable and can think on her toes must take an enormous amount of pressure off the Chief Executives shoulders.Creme always floats to the top which is no doubt where Maxine will remain for a long, long time!

She is so sensitive and helpful in every way, she has so many qualities too numerable to put on this form. She has such insight on peoples problems. I moved in here after a real bad time due to a stroke and many health problems while trying to care for my husband who was diagnosed with alzheimers and a brain tumor (non cancerous). I was in a tiny flat, unsuitable for my needs, she got me a larger flat. She even carried a large chair to loan me while i waited for mine to be made. She works so hard and really does go beyond the call of duty. She surely deserves acknowledging for everything and how hard she works.

Julie covered my internet/email, whilst i was in hospital and after, when I was recovering from my brain operations. She also covered my ward work with responding to residents concerns by email and telephone, she also entered issues into the respond system. Julie did all this, whilst also doing her own job and her council duties and should be commended for exceptional help and assistance which was/is much appreciated.

I can now go out again on my own. I have been very happy with the service i received as everybody was so helpful and so nice and friendly

I recently did a home visit with Jill to a parent whose son had just received a diagnosis of autism. Jill showed Jacinta that she cared about her emothional wellbeing. After Jill left Jacinta felt that Jill went above and beyond her role to support her family and wanted to thank her for the support which she felt had been vital to her adjustment to the new of her sons disability during the long assessment process and ongoing. I also felt that Jills response to the family was very genuine and suggested a Wow Award!

All the staff in the Stroke Rehabilitation Team (Tina, Jo, Val, Arin, Adam and Matt) who have looked after me in the last 6 weeks. All have been very friendly, helpful and have treated me with great respect. I thank them all for their tremendous support in helping me to re-adjust to my home environment and enabling me to have some independence.

My request for information held at the archives, the efficient and speedy reply pointing me in the right direction. The information received and the courtesy more than fulfilled my expectations.

Karen has been a great help to me and my small Business B.C. Skip hire. she has always been there to advise me and support me when ever I have had to contact the Higways department. Karen has always been very proffessional and really knows her stuff when it comes to my business. On the many occasions that I have needed to telephne Karen she has always answered straight away and gone out of her way to resolve the problem.

This lady has so much patience. When my son has had a bad day, she always helps us to see through the other side. She is very supportive. I personally dont think I would of got through this school year without her support. Thank you

Carlton has helped my father Denis to update his property in line with council requirements. As my father has mental health issues this has been very difficult, Carlton has been very patient and very accomodating, even visiting and ensuring my father was safe and secure whilst work was carried out on his property. Carlton is exceptionally good at his job, you are very lucky to have him.

She is always pleasant and kind and understands the needs of a profound deaf person and communicates well even using basic signs

I have seen first hand the care and dedication that the night staff display to the residents in their care. When I visit the centre in a morning the residents always look clean and well presented. The appearance and presentation of the residents is a credit to the night staff and the day staff
