My parents were in a care home having an assessment to determine their future. They had endured weeks of distress. Richard Steele worked tirelessly in securing the best outcome for my parents and family. They were admitted 7 September and were only discharged 8 November 2012. He treated them with the utmost respect and helped them to retain their dignity at all times. This was not just another "case" to him - he cared, cared so much that many times we had tears together because of the many frustrations we endured. It was refreshing to know that your social care department can only be enhanced by someone working amongst you with such values. Thank you Richard.

I want to tell you that the team are excellent and i couldnt wish for any one better I cant say any more than that i feel that all staff know their job.

Because of her excellence manner when she has been to me, I feel much better she really picks me up. She always makes sure that i have had my medication, eye drops. I will miss her when she does not come around anymore

My granddaughter and I visited this lady twice and on both occasions she was what i would call beyond helpful. A most fantastic and pleasant lady. She certainly gets our Wow!

I am nominating the whole team because they were all as good as each other and they encouraged me at all times. They were all very pleasant and a pleasure to be in my home.

Debra was very understanding and extremely efficient in dealing with my mother her help was invaluable. We really appreciated it.

The rehab team and carers of St Michaels House were very professional and the standards of care given were second to none, all the staff were really pleasant and helpful i really believe my mother would not have survived her illness without her stay with them. They were wonderful.

I came in to the library the other day and asked the lady at the enquiries desk where I could find books on history specifically Alexander III of Macedon, (Alexander the Great), and not only did she do the search of the subject I asked for, she looked online at the description of the books contents to see if it could be of any help with my current study project and the angle I was going for. She also did a few other tasks to help me find books I was looking for and went above and beyond to help me in my studies. We actually had a small debate about history and Alexander the Great. It was a very pleasant experience, very good customer service and she was all around very helpful. I saw the awards poster on the downstairs noticeboard and thought it a good idea to nominate Amy for the award since she had wowed me with her service and dedication.

All four have been so kind, good and helpful to me. Thank them all so much

Sue has been very helpful in advising about trees adjacent to my property which are causing me problems. She identified that these trees are protected, and sent me the necessary forms to apply for tree work to be carried out.Sue has saved me lot of time and trouble, for which I am very grateful.

I would like to nominate Ann Denton for a Wow award for looking after me and getting me on my feet. She has really helped me alot i would not know where to start. Nothing is too much trouble. She has no favourites and has good fair rules very good co-ordinator. Thank you!

Anne has done a lot for me like getting me on to the direct payments scheme from leaving the Grocott Centre day care service and increased my care package with Springbank Commuinty Care. Anne is always there for me if I require any help or home visits. Many thanks.

I cant chose one, they are all fab, friendly and feel that when i have rushed about to get here on time and im feeling stressed, they immediately put me at ease with their friendly and happy manner. It makes a big difference to me and one of the reasons i enjoy attending the centre

I have known Nan since i have been attending the centre. I find her friendly, kind, helpful manner is fantastic it puts me at ease and makes me feel confident and like an individual and important to her. I feel she goes above and beyond her job role and has been very influential in my journey, i really appreciate her help and support and feel i can contact her with any problems and she will be there.
