Its hard to pick out a single carer at the Meadows each being a friendly and caring person, but Debbie seems to stand out above the others this being because she is never without a smile or a laugh for the patients and their visitors. Nothing seems to be to much trouble for Debbie which i think we all apreciate.But thanks to all the staff for looking after my mother Ethel Brough.

Mr Wood made appointments to bring a telephone and explain everything. He is extremely well mannered, smartly dressed and very patient. He made a second call and remedy the phone fault. I am very, very satisfied with the job he has done. He is a credit to the firm he has earned and deserves the wow award.

We had never had any experience in care homes so we were very worried about leaving Freda but as soon as we arrived the staff were all very nice and keen to put all our worries aside. The house is a lovely bright and happy place to come. Well have no reservations about sending Freda again. A big thank you to all.

We were in a very stressful situation, John was referred to work with us, since then we now dont have any financial stress, the property has been improved and we have a much improved quality of life. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for John and her is always there if we need him. Providing a good service for the council.

This lady has been first class for me. My being 82 years old and needing some care after having 2 hip replacements and 5 other operations. Liz Barratt was quick to give information and help if needed, because I could not get into my bath due to my replacements. I am very much indebted to her for arranging me a bathroom (wet room) so I would like to thank her once more.

I am writing to you to let you know how much I appreciate the work and care your staff have given to me these last few weeks. I would not have been able to do what I have done without their help. I have enjoyed going for dinner and to visit Forest Park it was lovely and I also appreciate them taking me shopping, especially for my wedding clothes and taking me out on the scooter they have a lot of patience. Please thank Rob and the ladies for me. I know I have not finished with you yet but it cant be far off, thank you all.

My friend is staying at The Meadows after having a new knee. He is 86 years of age and the care he is receiving is excellent, from medical, food, cleanliness and staff! You can not fault it at all, the staff really are very very good indeed. Thank you and all concerned.

My first contact with Lynn was amazing. My Mum had just been admitted for 2 weeks respite care at Marrow House,Longton, and Lynn was bringing my Mum out of the bathroom having just given her a bath. On seeing me she immediately asked if I wanted a cup of tea whilst I settled Mum into her room. I was absolutely shocked to think that this person, who had not seen me before,and had just spent time helping Mum to bathe (not an easy task as she can be quite grumpy when asked to move around some) and Lynn was quite prepared to make me a cup of tea. Since then I have seen Lynn always treating the patients with dignity and respect and being very attentive to the patients wants and needs. She always goes the extra mile to make the patients happy and reassures relatives that their vulnerable family member is confident and relaxed in their current environment. She is incredibly supportive and nothing is too much trouble. Wonderful service and a credit to the care home!

All were very good and its hard to choose one. I was upset to say goodbye and I will miss them kisses and hugs all around every dept, whether dining room, medical, social to many to say how much I loved them. I will them in every dept lovely knowning them all. It was hard saying goodbye, I loved you all.

All the while that my mum has been staying there she has received only the very best care. Nothing is too much trouble as they help my mum, Brenda Brown, me and my family. The place is immaculate, its like being in a 6 star hotel. Honestly, I thank them very much.

Nothing is too much trouble, he does his job without putting pressure on the person he is caring too. He taugh me how to use the computer in a matter of weeks, yet when I first came I was very nervous of the computer and the staff, he put me at ease, I cannot praise him and the other staff enough for help received.
