You ask about my journey during the last few weeks but first I must mention what excellent care and encouragement I have received at all time from your department. Rob (backed up at time by Linda) has left no stone unturned to get me back into circulation in the outside world once more, and picking up again some of the things that I have always enjoyed doing. One of the most enjoyable days of the week for me now is Tuesday. Through your introduction I have become a member of local luncheon club where I am able to meet friends and enjoy the day in spite of being quite immobile. Thank you Rob and the team for helping me gain back some of my confidence and realize that there is still light at the end of the tunnel. I shall forever be in your debt.

They go that extra mile to be as helpful and cheerful when dealing with the many different catagories of disabled clients that they deal with every day. They all deserve a WOW! Award because they are fantastic.

Since Ive been going to the centre Im a lot happier as I look forward to going out and seeing different places and meeting new people and making friends. Before this I just stayed in my bungalow on my own. It has given me a little more confidence and independence when meeting other people whereas before I relied on my family to take me out. At the moment Im not quite ready to venture down the village on my own, but Im hoping in time that I might. All the staff especially Robert and Linda have been fantastic I cant thank you enough for what you have done for me. The service is an excellent way for people with mobility problems to gain more confidence and feel better in themselves and I would highly recommend it.

They have given my son and myself great support and confidence. The activities and events that are held are always well organised. The staff are always more than helpful and always willing to help. They are always kind and understandind and nothing it too much trouble. I dont know what I would do without the CC and staff. All is excellent.

Attending the Childrens Centre has boosted my confidence as a parent. My son has the opportunity to interact with children his own age. Staff at Tunstall Childrens Centre are helpful and friendly. Im expecting my new baby in October and know I will be supported to attend by staff and given help and advice.

We never attend any group before we came to Tunstall Childrens Centre, the staff are extremely friendly and supportive. My daughters confidence and vocabulary has improved. And I have grown in confidence too as a mum.

I attend Tunstall Childrens Centre weekly, the staff always make me feel welcome. They have given me support and advice with weaning and ways to stimulate my daughter.

We use the centres for the stay and play sessions. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. They encourage my 15 month old daughter to try different activities. My daughter is now very confident with both adults and children.

I have a family support worker at Tunstall Childrens Centre. She helps me with my daughters behaviour, accessing child care provision. She has helped me with my self confidence and gives me support with any parenting issues I find difficult.

I enjoy going to the centre, the team are great fun, they lead the singing and make the session very enjoyable.

I have found the centre really helpful and a secure place for me and has helped me and my family in many ways.

My children enjoy comin to the centre to play with the toys and other children. The staff are always friendly and the centre is always welcoming.

My Support Worker helps me to read letters and understand them, she ensures I receive all my benefits. I am not very confident and since working with the Support Worker I have grown to be able to access the centre on my own without my son this is something I would never had done before. I am able to make friends, without my support team helping me I would be on my own.

Family Support Worker Sarah Lockley has offered myself and my partner great support (practical and emotional) during our baby sons illness which has been a very stressful time for us.

Pam is always lively and enthusiastic, she makes adults and children both feel very welcome.

She is compliant, goes above and beyond normal duties, she sees to my social needs. She has a nice personality and always has a smile and cheery face. She is a credit to the job.

In the last 14 months plus she has helped me to sort my debts out, got my house sorted, decorated, carpeted and cleaned to stop me getting evicted but she is always nice and never judges and always books time to talk about normal stuff.

Ive only known Wajid for a few months but Ive felt the support Ive had has been the best. He has looked at me as a person, this is the first time a professional has ever helped me ever! Thanks Waj!
