Year in, year out everyone is consistently helpful, kind, polite and generally lovely towards myself. I am in a wheelchair and need the use of the hoist - nothing is too much trouble for them. It is a pleasure to come and without this service (although we do pay) my condition and health would rapidly decline. Thanks to one and all. Please stay open.

I work as an independant psychologist and users able to back the centre to undertake a piece of work with a local child. I found the staff really helpful in booking the room. The room I was given and general facilities were excellent.

10370. Carol Hudson
Carol is always tuned in to the personal interests of the residents at Marrow House. I watched Carol taking a short stay resident around the garden whilst he watered the flowers. She showed him what to do and where to get more water from and he spent the next hour enjoying tending to the shrubs and flowers by himself. It was heart warming to see. Lovely.

The staff at marrow house, longton are great with my mother and treat her with respect and they made her very welcome when she first arrived. Everytime i go to see my mother the staff always offer me a drink my mother always comments on how nice the staff are treating her and other residents.

Paul is fantastic, really good at his job. The service I have recieved has been second to non, nothing was to much trouble. Paul told me he is going to be working in another area untill Christmas but if I had any problems to e-mail him. I will really miss him.

Lisa was very helpful when assessing me for a handrail she asked how I managed the stairs I told her I did a step at a time pulling myself up on the rail. She said I needed another rail on the stairs as well as the one outside, she also suggested grab rails on the back enterance as the steps are quite steep. She checked I was ok getting in and out of bed, all the things Lisa set up have made my life so much easier. Thank you.

The carers are particularly friendly with my dad. They treat my dad with respect, understanding, dont rush him, talk to him when hes annoyed to calm him down. They are really fantastic I wouldnt want any other carers, they are brilliant and a pleasure to see.

Lucie and I have been coming for 2 years, she has learned such a lot. The staff are so helpful and kind. Also Emma who reads the stories. Its sad its come to an end, but Im sure its helped Lucie for the next step up to nursery. A big thank you to you all and a kiss from Lucie.
