(Nomination for: Hayley, Sue, Josie and Lyn) I find the girls who come in to my husband Bob, so kind and caring, nothing is too much trouble for them. The respect we receive is great they always have a smile on their faces, I cant tell you what it means to me when they come into our home to be treated so well, we look forward to seeing them.

Outstanding Dedication and ability to deliver. First rate Social Worker. Mandy has made the lives of two elderly people facing a dilema considerably easier and without her they would have suffered. She uses her head and is an excellent example of what a Social Worker should be.

(Nomination for: Sonia, Val, Karyn and Ann) I am very happy with the staff and care provided.

Lorraine is a very dedicated caring person, and has been very kind to me plus the other staff have been good to me.

They do a fantastic job and are very loving and caring.

She was very efficient, thoughtful and helpful to process my claim for housing benefits through the system sympathetically.

Because of the way my mother is being looked after at the home is very good, nothing is too much trouble for the staff to do. She is always well looked after and cared for.

They are all so very helpful and always have a smile on their face - which puts a smile on mine. They have helped me on the road to recovery and to get back my confidence back again.

Dear Mr John van de Laarschot please would you kindly praise Mandy Powell for her hard work and dedication to Stoke-on-Trent City Council. We the tenants of Newstead are so proud of Mandy our Housing Officer for the vast difference Mandy makes to the quality of life the of tenants of Newstead. Both Alyson and Steve were part of the team that carried out the neccessary work to enable Stoke to have its first Changing Place Toilet . They both worked very hard and have gone above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions to make sure that the contractors provided the very best facility. Thank you Steve and Alyson

Shaheen has always been very helpful, kind and supportive in everyway. She has always gone out of her way to help me in all aspects. She has always been punctual attending appointments etc.

I came in worried about my finances and left feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.

Because of her amazing support through out a very difficult time in mine and my childrens life.

Because he has helped me with my bills and everyday life, hes been a god send to me because of the help hes give me about my neighbours and the noise that happened in the past. I feel he has sorted things like the bills and showed me whats what. I am greatful for all the support he has give me in the past and made the future brighter so I dont fall into old habbits.

The staff give 100% care and respect, nothing was over looked and the kindness was very good, also the food was very good and cleanliness exceptional.

Five years ago Barbara attended a face to face parent meeting along with ten other councillors. We feel Barbara listerned with empathy and over the last five years has continued to support our quest to get better facilities for disabled people in Stoke. Barbara strived to get a changing place toilet in Stoke and always updated us on success and failings in getting this request moved forward. Without Barbaras support Stoke would not have a changing place facility in Stoke in 2010. Thank you Barbara.

Lesley supported and consulted with us regarding having a changing place toilet in Stoke-on-Trent. She took the agenda and successfully sourced the funding and agreed that this facility would be of a great benefit to people with disabilities. We feel that her project management was excellent and her approach was positive and determind. The facility opens officially on the 29th September and we are very excited. Thanks Lesley.

She was most helpfull in sorting out the problem with the council tax. She was very polite and efficient.
