I came in with a concern with my Council tax . I had received a reminder and was concerned that I would have to pay all the outstanding amount in one go . Which I was unable to do. I spoke to Wendy and she initially spoke about my concerns and calmed me down as I know the implications involved. She then asked me what was I able to afford and she spent TIME looking on her computer to try and set up a payment arrangement that was agreeable with the council and I would be able to keep to. I also asked if I could make as few payments prior to christmas as possible and she accommodated this in the payment schedule. I made my first payment straight away and feel that with Wendys help I will be able to keep to the arrangement and remove what worries I had .Thank you Wendy for your help in removing one less worry in times of great concern for all.

We had a council tax problem, he sorted out our direct debit problem out very quickly, he was very polite and a genuine person.

My short stay in this first class establishment was absolutely wonderful, the accomodation, cleanliness, food and the consideration of all the staff can not be faulted. For me the WOW factor was present from the first day to the last.

To a degree of excellence Caroline gives outstanding customer service and continues to go that extra mile, a superb and excellent lady a credit to Stoke on Trent City Council, well done.

I phoned your council tax team and spoke to a lady called Nicola. I was impressed from the start to the end of the phone call because she was really helpful, polite and answered all my questions. Nicola was more than happy to explain things to me over again and in simple terms so I could understand. Would you pass a message to her and say thank you. Well done and Nicola certainly gets my vote.

Without this centre I would be entirely lost as what to do with a two year old who is an only one. The centre provides a social gathering for both children and adults which especially helps children to learn to mix and share, we both enjoy our Wednesdays and hope to continue.

They have worked wonders getting Amba (my daughter) to interact with other children and tell us about other things happening within the centre.

I am a member of Tunstall Library Reading Group and joined in March 2009 when it started and feel I must mention to you Linda Davies who set this up almost 2 years ago.Linda has always gone that extra mile for the group and made everyone always feel very welcome and always at ease.Some of the less confident readers have come on leaps and bounds due to Lindas help and encouragement - she is a Role Model for us all. When we meet fortnightly, Linda always brings along different books for us to read, but first of all we all discuss what we have been reading and how we felt about it.She gives us the WOW factor for her time, patience and dedication to us.

Wendy is such a pleasant person and went out of her way to help us find the information we required, nothing seemed too much trouble for her, she definitely should receive a wow award.

She served me and my 3 year old with such brilliant customer service! She went over and above her role of duty and she totally inspired me to use the library more often!

Joanna tried to contact the service I needed for me and came to me specifically, asked me how I am and how she can help me and made me feel like saying wow what a great a service. The other day I went in and I could see she was very busy but she asked everyone if they were ok, she always goes to alot of effort to help and always has a few moments to spare. A most pleasant and helpful lady whom goes the extra mile in reflecting excellent customer service. A credit to Stoke-on-Trent City Council well done.

Because of all the help and advice he gave me, I was at risk of losing my tenancy and he got my tenancy back. He also helped me to keep the property in good condition by getting homeworks in to decorate for me and I now feel safe.

They were very helpful and friendly with my husband and myself and helped Bill with his walking and confidence. We were very pleased in everything that helped us, we feel lost now because we both made good friends with them. I could not put one name without the other.

I am a mum to 2 boys, Luke aged 20 months and Ben aged 4 weeks. I am on maternity leave and decided to visit the Norton Childrens Centre today for one of the play and stay sessions. I was apprehensive about attending as I didnt know anyone from the Childrens Centre, and I knew it would be hard for me trying to nurse Ben and play with Luke, but wanted something to entertain Luke now Winter is here.I was very pleasantly suprised. The customer service I received from the aforementioned members of staff was outstanding. Its very difficult having 2 children under 2, but all 3 staff members helped me to cope so that I could enjoy the session. The 3 ladies took it in turns cuddling, feeding and entertaining Ben while I played with Luke, and the ladies made me feel comfortable and welcome the whole time I was there. Near the end of the session Luke found a ball and wanted to play, so 2 of the ladies took Luke outside for me while I was changing Bens nappy so that Luke could play football and he had a lovely time playing on the trikes. I would like to say a BIG thank you to all 3 ladies and I will definately be visiting the Centre again, in fact, I am really looking forward to it and Im sure Luke and Ben are too!!

Since being discharged from the hospital and being introduced to your wonderful services I have received a very high degree of help and support, friendship from the very kind and helpful staff. Chris, Joy and fellow colleagues, who certainly helped me through a difficult period of illness and have given me back a lot of confidence to try and carry on as normal. Valuable help was given for me to continue to negotiate my weekly shopping. They have given me support and encouragement to use my own car to complete this task in the future. Alternatives have been suggested which was very helpful and I welcomed these suggestions. Generously I was taken to a local fishing venue where I received a very friendly reception. Along with a generous offer of I would be made very welcome anytime I cared to visit. Hopefully I will be doing just that in the near future. This was made possible by the by the very kind help and understanding of your staff and colleagues. To whom this may concern I wish to express an extreme vote of thanks for all the time and expertise I have received, once again thanks!

Before Rob and Lynn came into my life I was stuck at home because of my mobility problems. They took me out and introduced me to Shop Mobility and Dial a Ride and now my wife and I are no longer stuck at home, we dont lead separate social lives we can do things together once again. Thank you very much, youve given me my life back again.

When I started on this journey it was to try and get stronger and to get my confidence back which I have now thanks to the help from the team. My family are very happy with the progress I have made and are glad to see me out and about again. It has made a big difference to them as it has taken a lot of worry away as I had been so ill. I think you provide a great service which must be helpful to many people. Many thanks to you all and good luck for the future.
