Because of the hard work and support he has given to the friends of Hartshill park in carrying out the requirements of a Community Spaces Grant. He is always friendly and helpful and went to considerable trouble to help me view the improvements to Hartshill Park when i became moderately disabled. I appreciated this very much.

I was so impressed with the care my husband was given on his stay.

Because she was helpful, sympathetic towards my situation and explained things so i understood. Very very lovely lady. Non judgmental.

She was amusing, civil, professional and so so helpful. I was so worried about my circumstances but she put me at ease and treated me so well. My mind is at rest now and i am so grateful to a lovely woman. I hope my message has been put across ok as this lady really deserves a pat on the back

Carol is a person that listens to everyones needs and sees that everyone is happy with the way that she carries out her work, always there to talk about the patient nothing is too much trouble

Tracey over the last few weeks both my wife and my self cant help but notice that she is dedicated to her job she talks to the residents and spends time with them explaining every detail to them about different matters, this is also noticed by our friend that we visit, as she has all good things to say about her she is 100 years old but says that Tracey is her good friend and to me this speaks for its self.

Both ladies are doing an admirable job. Both are efficient and most pleasant. All in all, my wife and I have nothing but praise for the service we are getting.

Very very grateful for everything, made her day. Been as good as family, polite and professional, very caring excellent service.

We first met Debra when she helped us with my mother aged 91 after a very bad fall because of Debras help she can now be in her own home and regain some independence. Debra we felt has exemplary character with honesty and integrity so she deserves the nomination.

Angela is a very committed person we were very impressed by her patience and skills shown during our meeting with her with our mum, we felt she went above and beyond her job to help. Therefore we would like to nominate her for a wow award

I would like to take this opportunity to offer a recommendation for st michaels rehab my mother spent several weeks there following a fall. They demonstrated an incredible initiative and dedication caring for her recovery. The centre and staff are a vital credit to the city.

Our rehab team is brilliant. We were apprehensive before they came but we neednt have worried. They have slotted into our household like old friends so a big thank you to Barbara, Carol, Chaz and Glyn. They have all given care and kindness and helped Les to gain confidence for the way ahead.

Caring and understanding giving dignity for personal care. Girls have been very pleasant and friendly.

Always giving me the best help and advice of the best way to do everything.

They have been regularly on a day to day basis ever since i came home from the St Michaels home. Confidence building with walking, with staff from the meadows very pleasant.

Because of the superb care, attention, understanding, patience, activities used and carried out, and much, much more, shown to my father and everyone else in their care. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, and the atmosphere alone speaks volumes. Well done to you all, and keep up the good work, these people need you!!

I have been to see Alison twice about my housing benefits and she has been excellent helping me on both occasions this is why i am nominating her for a wow award for the excellent help she has gave me

Polite and Interested - engaged with me from first enquiry. Witty Banter - Unusual on a Monday morning! Sypathetic to my individual circumstances (retired early on health grounds) Informative - Info delivered clearly and concisely (rare!). Efficient - despite a couple of technoglitches! I believe that Kirsty Dean should be awarded the wow award, as I have never met such a friendly, helpful, caring council worker. Kirsty makes the time to listen to people, and makes you feel that there is someone there that doesnt only listen, but actually does care about the individual person. Kirsty helped myself and my family to be homed in our last home , we thought it was a dream come true, but within the six months of being there we suffered with such poor conditions that I was on the bleak of a major family break up, Kirsty was there to help, being very understanding and actually feeling how we must of felt, Kirsty helped us to be homed into the property we are now in. The property we now have is home, we are happy again as a family, and we could never express how grateful we are to Kirsty Dean. Whenever I mention the help I have recieved from the council I always tell people how friendly and supportive Kirsty Dean is, Kirsty always has a smile and even on the other end of the phone she makes a dull day bright. We could never thank Kirsty enough and we know even after rehoming us to a dream home, we know we can always contact her without any worries. Kirsty Dean is one in a million and definitley deserves the wow award.

On the late afternoon of Christmas Eve, I returned home from shopping, cold and wet. To my horror, I realized that I had lost my door keys and could not get into my bungalow. I contacted the Local Centre at Blurton and they immediately sent a man to help me, without success. I had to contact my daughter at Porthill to see if she still had a spare door key. Success there. Terry stayed with me all the while until she arrived, as he said he didnt want to leave me on my own in the dark. A true gentleman to whom I was very grateful. Many thanks to him, he is a credit to the Council.

The staff are absolutely dedicated to providing excellent care to all residents at the centre. Every member of the team works hard to ensure that those in their care are treated with dignity and respect there is a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all residents.
