Recent Nominations

After a period of 18 months of trying to explain my circumstances to Stoke City Council regarding my living arrangements due to illness and the impact this may or may not have on my council tax payments, I was fortunate enough to be transferred to David Stubbs in a recent attempt. Contrary to previous telephone conversations, where the service had been unhelpful and abrupt, Mr Stubbs actually listened regarding my situation, sought advice from his Manager and got back to me promptly, as he said he would. He was extremely professional but also very pleasant in his manner. He found out that I was actually entitled to an exemption and had this put into place swiftly as well as organising a refund on payments already made unnecessarily. This has not only eased my financial burden but also relieved alot of stress which was not helping my recovery. I am extremely grateful to Mr Stubbs for his help.

I feel that Julia and her cohorts on reception and the front line staff always do the very best they can to sort out our problems.

He came promptly on time, plastered my ceiling perfectly and left very little mess, he was polite and friendly. The job was completed within the day, I felt completely satisfied with a great job and he explained what would happen and what to do next, overall I am extremely pleased and feel he deserves this.

Kay spent nearly three hours processing my claims two weeks ago and Richard has spent another few today. They were extremely helpful, polite, thorough and patient processing a complicated matter. Their friendly cheerful attitude made what could have been a nasty experience much easier for me. A big thank you to them both.

Katie went beyond the call of duty to help us, thats what we think anyway, she has a lovely personality, very helpful well spoken and really goes out of her way to explain things to you. Each time we have been to see her we have come away knowing what she has done, she has done her best. Please consider her for an award, as I know that if I have any other worries I shall most certainly make an appointment with Katie. If all your staff have the slightest personality as her then you will do very well.

Anjii has helped me so much and taken so much stress off me the past few weeks. I never met anyone so pleasant, kind and considerate as Anjii. She knows her job inside out and her kindness shines through. Anjii definitely deserves a WOW! Award she truly is a wonderful woman.

I suffer with anxiety and depression, I found Dan very understanding and polite, he took care to make sure I understood all he told me, which I did. Dan had a very pleasant manner about him. His professional approach was in my opinion, was above and beyond my expectations.

If it wasnt for the team I dont know where I would be now. I would not have had any confidence without their support and my trust in them. I was housebound and now I go shopping with my son and attend a local social and luncheon club.
