Recent Nominations

Mr Clayton called on me on the 9 August regarding the installation of gas central heating. I cannot speak too highly of his very hard and patient time with me. Mr Clayton answered all my queries and explained everything in a very professional and easy way. Therefore, i feel very confident about the final installation.

The health visiting team would like to nominate Mel (as she is known) for her outstanding helpfullness and friendly approach to both staff and clients. As the front of Fenton Childrens Centre she projects a warm friendly welcome to all! Thank you Mel.

My Mother, at 93, is now in a Care Home in Stoke on Trent. I live in Australia and have visited her numerous times while she lived in her own home. Last year she was placed in Grindley House Care Home, chosen by the above department in my absence. Seeing how she is looked after there, and how much David Marks team have helped me, from this 12,000 miles distance, to iron out all the necessary details has been an unbelievable experience. The assistance I have been given, both during my UK visit to my Mother, and the ongoing formalities deserves praise, and my gratitude.

Stephanie used to be at Norton and Ball Green and is desperately missed! She has been outstanding and looked after my son fantastically. She is a great loss to norton and Ball Green to parents and children! Wonderful lady.

Anyone who has ever read one of my emails will tell you that they tend not to be very brief. In this instance, however, I only need 3 (three) words to describe Chris Hulme: 1. Helpful 2. Helpful 3. Helpful. If my email were to be any longer it would also include the words "professional" and "efficient". The listed buildings team are fighting the Battle of Rorkes Drift and I only hope that the need to preserve the listed buildings in Burslem is fully understood by those responsible for supplying the ammunition. Perhaps this email isnt so brief after all, but then I have good reason to thank the listed buidlings team for their efforts.

With not knowing what mum was entitled to Debra not only came out, she helped to fill in the forms and informed mum and myself what to do. We found that nothing was too much trouble. At all times she was helpful polite and has followed up with phone calls to see if things are going ok.

I cannot thank Debra enough for her help and support in my time of need she is a very nice lady.

Joy is a very kind and considerate lady who is so respectful to her patients. She made me feel my life was still worthwhile and gave me confidence in myself once again.

Debra very effectively carried out an application for attendance allowance for my mother. This included a visit to my mothers home. My mother is normally very nervous of visitors but she describes Debra as charming and approachable. The application was processed very quickly and my mother, my sister and I are very grateful for everything she did for us.
