I have booked Studio classes online for some time but since the system was changed recently, when I arrive at Reception now, they state that I am not booked in, and I do not know why, when I clearly had systematically gone through the online system. However, on Saturday 15 January 2013, I arrived at the Center to be told the class had been cancelled, I asked why they had not rang me to prevent an unnecessary journey, and again they said, because you were not on the list. Christian then came out with a printout of the names booked in, and asked me to go through what I was doing whilst I was booking in, and he explained to me where I was going wrong, and said to go home and try again and if you have any difficulty, give me a ring and I will help you, and gave me his direct line. I did try and I saw straight away what I had to do, and I did a print out, and I received an email to confirm the classes I had booked. The reason I am nominating Christian is because on all previous occasions I have visited the Center no one else had explained this to me when the occasion arose "you are not booked in" before, and therefore I feel he gave great customer service

Unconvinced I called back and spoke to Paula who went out of her way to find them, checking changing rooms and offices and calling me back. She understands true customer service. Vanessa is unfailingly helpful and corteous, always greeting the customers with a smile. If help is required, she is prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that we are dealt with efficiently. We have been swimming at Catmose for several years now and I still find it a pleasure to be welcomed by her at 7am.

As I live alone Vanessa is the first person I speak with on the mornings I go to he gym. She always gives me a lovely smile and greeting. Any queriesI have had she deals with efficietly and quickly. She is the kind of person who has a really good empathy with people, a very rare quality these days. Vanessa gets a WOW from me for all the above reasons and getting my days off to a great start.

I was running late for my cardio kick box class and upon arrival i relaised i had left my gloves and pads in my car. Knowing i would be late for the class, Steve kindly offered to run to Tesco Car Park, in the pouring rain, while I took part in the warm up. A life saver!

I went to an aerobics class a few weeks ago, I was nervous as it was my first time at your centre but she made me feel incredible relaxed, in fact she had us all laughing! She worked us so hard but kept us motivated too. All round brilliant.

Everyone has always been very welcoming, friendly and helpful, this has been espcially so as I am recovering from having a cancerous tumour removed and have found the daytime classes useful and informative towards my rehab and recovery. Daytime classes have a great atmosphere and welcome newcomers. This has been particulary helpful for myself as its been a great confidence builder and has reignited my passion for sport and fitness

I was recommended by my doctor after a serious illness to join a gym. I have been going to Kinesis and swimmming since the begining of the year. Tom has encouraged me, changed my exercises and listened to me, especially when medical problems have arisen. Tom has kept Mark informed who in return has helped me. If you had seen me when I first went to Kinesis you would not say its the same person and I could not of done it without Tom and Mark. They have remained patient with me and pushed me when I needed it. I know I have a way to go still but I am still in there working. Thanks guys, if Tom doesnt deserve a WOW award then I do not know who does.

Felicity took our Aqua session on Thursday 30th October. She was the best Instructor we have had and we would like her to have a permanent class in trhe daytime. I would definately attend. I have been coming to Aqua for 10 years now at Royston and Letchworth.

Whenever anybody walks through the door to the gym you are assured of a warm welcome. If you need assistace Rikki will always be willing to help. No task is a problem. Encouragement: for me I would have given up a long time ago, but I have now been a member for 9 months. Nothing is too much trouble for Rikki.

Jon is not only a dedicated and committed swimming instructor, demonstrating great patience and understanding, hes also welcoming, friendly and goes out of his way to put people at ease. He also helps out in the cafe and undertakes charity swimming events too... and he does it all with a smile!

Last week my 3 year old went into meltdown and refused to get into the pool because her usual swimming teacher was being covered by a male instructor. I failed repeatedly to encourage her into the pool and participate in the lesson. Rachel was teaching the class next to us and when she had finished she took the time to get into the pool with my daughter (and get wet!). She swam a couple of widths with her, despite having already finished teaching for the day. Thank you Rachel, we were so grateful for your help and we all left feeling a little happier about the experience!

She was the only person to do it at that alloted time and it would have been too easy for them to have just gone through the motions. They were both an absolute credit to Stevenage Leisure, they encouraged her all the way round, at 9 years old she finished the whole course thanks to those two. I cannot praise them high enough and hope you will pass on my appreciation to both of them. If only all your employees were like these two...amazing! I was referred to the centre by a physiotherapist on the GP referral scheme for chronic knee pain which might have needed operative intervention. Although I have been very fit in the past I had not taken exercise for three years. Gemma gave me an assessment and a programme of activity that she monitored. She encouraged me with her immense enthusiasm and commitment and suggested I join classes. I was uncertain at first as i was unfit and a little embarrassed. She provided me with huge support and I am now in a class most days. As a result my knee no longer requires intervention and my fitness is vastly improved. Gemma remains motivational and inspirational and greatly appreciated by everyone who attends that centre. She herself runs fun classes and motivates her staff to deliver a high quality service.

For all the teams support during the Postural Stability group. We are now on week 11 and all my patients feel very happy and comfortable to come to the leisure centre each week. Last week whilst it was raining very heavily, members of reception came out with umbrellas to escort the patients in ensuring they stayed dry.
