I would like to nominate them for… The special effort that they made to host our event in July. Every detail seemed to be taken care of – reception area, signage, the meeting room and the equipment.Given that this was a meeting for senior people from a wide variety of leading customer service providers, the service standard we expected was very high. MWB exceeded our expectations. Many of our delegates commented on the lovely venue and, in particular, the lovely lunch.Our success at this event was largely down to the smooth running and organisation by MWB. Thank you.

On Saturday 30th June 2012, we were running a seminar at 83 Baker Street. We discovered that the air conditioning was not working effectively and that our delegates were becoming uncomfortable. I had Dolly Garzons telephone number and even though it was on a Saturday she picked up and when I explained what was happening she was very sympathetic and said that she will sort it out. She had contacted the Manager Jacob Matthews and then checked back with me to explain what she had done. Jacob turned up, again on his day off, and fixed the problem. Dolly contacted me to make sure that all was resolved. Thank u.

On 11 July 2012, I parked in the usual car park on Chiltern street. When I arrived at the office, I realised that I had left my wallet at home and was without any cash or bank cards. No one else was in the office that day. I spoke to Philip Dang about it and as usual he said Ill see what I can do. Within an hour he had cash to lend me to pay for car parking at the end of the day. My recent dismay at not being able to use call forwarding on my phone resulted in Arran printing off a user guide for using the phone and a promise to provide further help if I need it. I nominate Emily for service above and beyond the call of duty, whilst off duty!The face of my iPhone was smashed and O2 wanted to charge me £100 excess and Id be without my phone for up to 2 weeks. Plus it would come back restored to factory settings.On her day off, Emily took my phone into town, got it fixed for a fraction of what O2 wanted to charge, came into the office to drop if off for me on the same day, and wouldnt even accept a small donation towards her troubles. Emily saved me time, hassle, money and the stress of losing/restoring all my iPhone data, which is something I cant even put a cost on. And all on her day off!Wow indeed! Thank you Em!

I would like to nominate the whole team at MWB Paddington as i think they all deserve recognition.We rented space in their facility for approximately 8 months and during that time we received customer service to an exceptional level!I did not come across one member of staff who was not cooperative, polite, friendly and accomodating, which is a really refreshing change in todays society!In particular l would like to mention Tammy and Cristina and the rest of the reception team, who are always smiling and welcoming, making it an absolute pleasure visiting the office.An absolute credit to Rob and the management for building an exceptional team.

We have been moving our office around a bit in order to accommodate a new member of staff, but as I am on my own I can’t move large bits of furniture without help. Paul has helped me by moving lots of heavy furniture and boxes over the last month – particularly when he moved a smaller cabinet to another office and then repositioned a large heavy cabinet within the office which was above and beyond his duty. He is always cheerful and helpful and has also come up with suggestions on how to maximize the space we have and I really could not have done it without him. I realise this isn’t one particular incident, but it’s also his general attitude since he took over as Assistant Centre Manager which is so great. Nothing is too much trouble, and it is very much appreciated by L-3 Communications.

We recently our fourth year of running Accentures Internship Induction Week, once again at MWB 55 Old Broad Street. We were really happy to have Ruaridh Bulger as our main client liaison this year as well. Ruaridh is an exceptional onsite Manager and Customer Service ambassador for MWB. He has stretched himself beyond the call of duty on every single occasion there was be it providing a PA system at the last moment or rolling up his sleeves and helping set up the event with an independent team from our side. He managed several last minute changes without complaint, handled high level client conversations with ease and has a very effective personal style full of warmth and courtesy. It is rare to find a true gentleman who treats his staff, colleagues, clients and suppliers with the same , high level of respect, dignity and professionalism and I have seen all members of MWB listen to him and follow his leadership without question. I will definitely be looking for more opportunities to work with him and MWB again!

My nomination is Andrea Byrne @ MWB South Manchester. This is mainly because of excellent customer service provided ALL year round. MWB are lucky to have Andrea. What did stand out for me was that Andrea came out unprompted and supported us lads @ ONE-ILL when doing the Manchester Marathon back in April 2012 (even considering the terrible weather conditions). This was extremely appreciated as some Family & Friends ducked out due to the weather!

Without a doubt the administration team, including reception at the MWB Maidenhead offices are all super helpful and very pleasant to deal with. However, Hannah goes beyond standard customer service and on one particular day in March kindly got me coffee on a regular basis because I was incapacitated for a day. This despite the fact that I was based on the ground floor and the coffee machine was the next floor up. In June we had several colleagues up from London to play golf, and we were a set of clubs short. Andrea, on the morning of our game, brought in a set of clubs to save us embarrasment with our colleagues. Typical Andrea, always looking to do that little bit extra!! She is not just the consumate proffesional on the front desk, which we also regard her highly for, but also looks beyond her job role to see how she can help others. Diamond!!

Ana has been always been wowing us with her extremely big smiles, can-do attitude and artistic talent. The centre is made such an impressive office owing to her small touches. From Valentines Day to Halloween and from Easter to Christmas, the reception area is always wonderfully decorated. And from modifying the ground floor reception to turning the common lounge into a charming and atmospheric room - adored, used and enjoyed by all.....BUT the big WOW came when we stepped into the room were going to move into. We requested a bit of colour but we got a world map on one nicely coloured wall and a beautiful and elegant landscape view with pavilions, willows, birds and trees on the opposite, which not only tie in with our travel services but turn the plain room into a wonderland. Simply awesome! Coming to work will be a treat! Magical!We must also commend on other members of team who also WOW us – Kirk Newton, leader with great personality and people skills, Andre Sbardellotto who always go the extra mile to help sorting out any problems we may have, Jamie Ospina and Andrew who always make sure our daily back ups in the comms room is fulfilled, and the recently joined ladies with their warm big smiles. Also not forgetting bubbly Pilar Reyes who has sadly left. The Strand team shines! THANK YOU!

Whilst visiting a client for 2 weeks I one day found myself needing to contact a new employee back at the office, however before I left I had diverted the phone to my mobile and left no instructions on how to switch it off! Once I realised this, as I reached my voicemail everytime I tried to call through, I decided to give the reception a try to see if they could help. Gemma answered and was more than happy to head down to the office and switch off the call forwarding for me so I could call through to the office, she even stopped to teach my new colleague how to do it himself! Great service.

Charlotte was an invaluable source of help during my internship induction held at Cannon Street 25th-26th June. She stayed after her shift had finished on the previous Friday to allow me to deliver my materials and assess the room layouts for the following week. She also gave me her mobile number to call her if I needed early access on the Monday. On the morning of the induction, my laptop was not compatible with the projector but Charlotte was very quick to provide a solution and allowed me to ask all my presenters to email their presentations to her so she could upload on to the MWB laptop which we were able to utilise for the remainder of the induction. This could have been a big issue affecting the entire 2 day induction but Charlotte helped to resolve it very quickly. Charlotte was always on hand to assist with technical issues, catering requests including specific dietary requirements and general assistance. Her response to any communication I send is almost instant and she was very willing to accommodate any last minute changes. Charlotte ensured that my event was a success and stress free. Thank you!

This team were extremely helpful during what could have been a very stressful office move. They went out of their way to help me plan and co-ordinate the move - from ordering keys to moving heavy furniture, sorting out complicated server room issues and preparing an office plan for me. They could not do enough to help - and handled all requests calmly and with a pleasant and cheerful demeanour and I think that they ought to be recognised as one of the most helpful reception teams I have ever come across! I definitely would have many many more grey hairs if it werent for them! Fantastic client service!

I suddenly found myself with an unexpected deadline after being let down by a supplier for printing. I approached the reception in the MWB Business exchange to see if they could possibly help me out with my printing requirements and not only were they extremely polite, bubbly and cheerful they put themselves out of their way to help me out. Not only did they print my documents (quite a few handouts for a training day) they also offered to bind them for me to make them look professional. Now of course I am fully aware that I am being charged for this service and rightly so. However, the way I was treated was exceptional and I was made to feel like I was important and valued. Both Andrea Byrne and Natalie Marsom possess excellent customer service skills and they are an absolute pleasure to do business with. (I have written a seperate nomination for Natalie)Thank you both for going that extra mile to help others.
