Alex has been seconded to Covent Garden - Floral street during recent staff shortages.She made a good impression from the start and three of my consultants commented, without being prompted, that she was most impressive and was handling clients with style and efficiency. Up to that point, it was welcome news but what one might expect.However, yesterday - Wed 13 Jul - we were handling the arrival of 17 clients before 11.00am. They were attending various individual meetings and collecting for a Workshop in the Apollo:1. We needed more rooms. 2. I wanted lunch for eight people at 3 hours notice. 3. We were short staffed and needed help guiding people. Alex took charge, used her initiative, did things without being asked and became an extension of my team. She then planned the rest of the weeks requirements before she finished her day.Welcome, cut-glass efficiency and client satisfaction were important requirements yesterday and Alex ensured that MWB delivered the goods.

8988. Katy Fowler & Jana Jencikova
I would like to nominate Katy Fowler, and all of her staff, with special mention for Jana Jencikova as these are the two people I deal with 99% of the time.Every request I have made has been responded to immediately, and actioned faster than I would expect. Their level of knowledge and understanding of our requirements is as impressive as their memory for names in the building and their general attitudes - always smiling, friendly and ready to help. Their helpfulness goes beyond the normal standard for business/office management and makes this building a more pleasurable, easy place to work than I would normally expect.There is not a specific event, but a string of events which has elicited this nomination from myself. We have had a series of requirements with regards to security, technology and PR that have meant upgrades to things like door locks, television purchases and air conditioning, all needed immediately and generally causing great stress. Everything was dealt with in a highly efficient, formal yet friendly way, which impressed me greatly, as the pressure on us in the office to get these things done was transferred to Katy and Jana, which they dealt with in a very professional manner.

Charlotte has "Wowed" our company here at Logan Tod! Recently we discovered that our fax number/line wasnt working. My Director was expecting a very important fax and was not impressed one bit to find out that it wasnt working. Charlotte was onto the case immediately and discovered that with the previous fax line we had a divertion set up to our number. Therefore our fax line hadnt been working since the phone system was changed a couple of weeks prior! Charlotte set up the new divertion to our fax number and it was up and working promptly. Charlotte acted very efficiently and professionally to manage our expectations. Well done!

Cepec has had one of the busiest three day period this year. We have had about 40 clients coming through Reception and being advised by our Consultants.During the same period, there have been two major workshop events with 18 clients, using the Apollo Board Room.Today we were handling five separate meeting rooms and Reception were able handle the requests, find rooms at short notice and take responsibility for finding a solution.By coincidence, the Reception Team has been taxed with the problems of temporary staff and turnover.Through all the pressure, Thamina manages a very busy Reception with calm and efficiency. She takes responsibility easily and finds solutions.What more could a Tenant ask for?

8877. Saffron Bryant
In Saffron's time at Richmond, she has positively blossomed from a shy, awkward girl to a confident, knowledgable and competent young lady. There is always a smile and nothing is too much trouble, but never a fuss. A few weeks ago, we had an important Board Meeting with Directors arriving from across Europe, all at different times and with several last minute requests. Saffron helped enormously with her calm and pleasant manner, making the necessary adjustments to our requirements and ensuring that everything went smoothly. Saffron also has the ability to be on the telephone at reception and give a friendly nod to those passing in and out. She certainly deserves an award for her friendliness and efficiency alone.
