From the moment you arrive for surgery you are treated with the utmost care and your mind is put at ease - staff are friendly, caring and explain everything to you! The anaesthetist is hysterical!! After surgery you are completely cared for and have staff with you constantly until you are discharged. I cannot praise Mr Blair and his team highly enough - thank you all!!

Because they were nice, welcoming, talkative and caring and ready to have a chat. I had a cannular in my arm and the nurse made me laugh as I didnt know that she took it out and it didnt hurt. If it wasnt for the nurses being so nice I wouldnt be leaving happy.

She is like a friend who helps me in my most difficult time. She encourages me when I am doing my sesisons. She has hopes for me and all the time she helps me to do my best.

The last time i visted the hospital i found the experience distressing for many reasons. This visit has been quite exceptional in every way, from the preliminary visit to meet Dr Andrews, the second "pre med", the operation and recovery process has been shown to be extremely precise and efficient. The planning and organisation of such a large team of people is formidable and a great credit to all involved. I have been COMPLETELY SATISFIED by the treatment I have received for such a large team of great people (right back to the porter). All headed by the remarkable Dr Andrews. May God bless you all. I was admitted to Lawrence ward at Medway Hospital on the 8th November with Neutropenic sepsis. From the moment I arrived I was treated with kindness, respect and expert care! I felt I must fill in a nomination form as the staff were so professional and kind.

Nice people - helpful and nice to have a chat to. Always professional.

Having been admitted in a distressed condition this person and the whole team working on the ward provided continuous comfort and help. The help was provided with good humour and dedication, exactly was required. The experience I have had at Medway has been consistently good from the moment of entry to discharge.

From the moment I arrived at the Day Surgery procedure suite I was made to feel at ease about my Carpel Tunnel Syndrome treatment, during the treatment they spoke to me which helped to put me at ease and the after care before you are discharged was very good. All the team make you aware of what to do if you have any problems with your hand and also give you phone numbers you might need. I have never been made to feel so relaxed during any other treatment.

Lilly was clearly a very caring person who put me at ease. She was able to explain clearly all the necessary procedures before and after my operation. She was also interested in me as a person not just a patient.

Always kind, extremely helpful and always considerate of my feelings. When asked to help, she does 100% at every occasion, no questions asked. She makes me fel relaxed knowing she and the other staff are here to help me. I feel safe.

Pat was the most friendly helpful and happy person to wake you in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble and made you laugh and happy to be alive. If you had a Pat in every ward you would nt need Drs for cheering you up.

Vey caring and made me feel at ease with procedures and made me feel comfortable. They went out of their way to help and made my staff as good as it could be after surgery. They all exceeded themselves to help from explaining fully to just being there.

Went the extra mile for patient care. Attended MRI dept to arrange urgent exam and explained thoroughly. Provided reassurance to family.

Annie is very friendly. She tries to cheer me up all of the time. She smiles and always asks for my needs and sometimes brings me McDonalds because I like it. She helps to sort any problems out and always asks me if I am alright. Andrea is caring and loving, she jokes around and helps everytime. She is funny and takes care of me. I want to tell Andre that you deserve 10 out of 10.

Their expertise and kindness concerning my collis fracture has resulted in a much speedier recovery than it would have been without their help. Well done to them and a big Thank You.

As I was coming round from my recent operation, I just about got Neils first name, so I can only apologise for not knowing more or his job title. I was overwhelmed by the consideration from Neil, he made me feel so relaxed and comfortable after my operation, above and beyond that; he done something rarely heard of in my hospital experience, he listened to me and responded making my recovery a lot quicker and smoother than last time.

I attended the hospital to see the nurse as I suffer with my heart, diabetes and Parkinsons, it was also the anniversary of my wifes funeral, so I was feeling low, but just talking to Lorna I left feeling good. If thats not a Wow factor I dont know what is.

14.11.12 The clinic was running late due to a problem with a patient. The rest of the clinic was very well looked after by two really lovely nurses making tea with biscuits. Please give them both a big Wow award each, many thanks.

Been attending the CT department for 7years now and as always the staff in the CT department are absolutely fantastic. Jane especially has always been extremely helpful, cant praise the staff at the CT department highly enough.

Ann has been very supportive since we have been in the hospital. Shes like a best friend. Everyday she comes and says hello . She cheers me up. She helped to organise school for me as I was in hospital for a long time and she knew that I was serious about education. She hugs me, supports me, she even supports my mum like a friend and encourages me and makes me believe that I will be able to go through this hard time.

You are all fantastic! I was on Ocelot ward on the 12th October following a procedure for 3 days. In the days I was in there, the nursing was 1st class, not only to me but everyone that was in my bay and it was a quick turnover bay, many coming in and out. There was a 96 year old amazing lady opposite me worried that she was being a nuiscance but they assured her and gave her kindness and tender care. These nurses are how nurses should be and work as a team. Very cheerful, night and day, special thanks Hayley, Hannah, Maria
