Osato Igbinoba (couldnt have had anybody better) made me feel very calm and relaxed and was there when I was at my poorliest, helped me have my first shower, always reassured me when I needed it. She is wonderful to have around and gives brilliant advice; she is an absolute credit to Medway Hospital.Liz Quinn - brilliant sense of humour she was there when I was very tearful just a pleasure to be treated by.Sandra Farrell - extremely helpful always grabbing and doing stuff that I wasn’t able to and it was always done with a smile.

They are the best CSWs to have and I always wish that I have them. Their jokes, laughs and smiles cheer up every patient that is under their care. They deserve this award for the work loads that are piled on them, but they still keep smiling. Theyre the best duo ever!

It would be hard to single out one person as many on Milton ward deserve special mentions. So I can only nominate the ward and all who take part in providing for the care and comfort of the patients.

Cannot fault my care.

I have never experienced a fracture clinic before. I found David to be professional, knowledgeable, considerate, caring and personable. We had a laugh and a joke throughout the whole experience. He was able to give me information regarding aids to help my temporary disability quickly, precisley and efficiently.

I was in Pembroke Ward for a week from 18/09/2012 after an operation on my shoulder. I was expected to go home within 24hours but my discharge was delayed due to a clot found in my leg. The correct dosage of warfarin etc.. had to be found. I was really worried at this time but Rowena was always there to alleviate my doubts and worries. Her ready smile was a breath of fresh air and her willingness to help was a great comfort. Nothing was too much trouble, not only for me but for everyone in Pembroke Ward. She is a credit to her profession and that is why I am more than pleased to be able to nominate her for a Wow Award.

It would be hard to nominate one member of the team when they all are cheerful and helpful, they certainly aid recovery.

A more caring, helpful, gentle, efficient nurse would be impossible to find. This lady is a credit to her proffession and is a mainstay of Keats Ward. My stay has been a pleasant one due to this lady, her attitude to her work, sense of humour and extreme knowledge.
