28093. Ocelot Ward
The whole team needs to be nominated for the wonderful care that has been extended to Mrs Joan Marshall (my mother). All members of staff have been polite, caring, patient and encouraging. Nothing has been too much trouble and her needs have been fully catered for. The atmosphere on the ward is very positive and the warmth from the nurses and support staff is very much appreciated when families face diffficuly challenges. Thank you all very much (A very well led team).

Rowena gave me such attentive and dedicated care with such a lovely cheerful and willing attitude. She has a lovely smile which brightens things up when youre feeling uncomfortable and in pain. She was so quick to help me with things which I needed such as adhesive dressings which Im not allergic to. She taught me patiently, kindly and with skill to give myselft injections and was very empathetic at my nervousness with this task.

28100. Nelson Ward
I was admitted to a bay that had a variety of dependant and demanding patients at lunch time. I was only in the ward for 24 hours but observered how caring, respectful and happy all the staff were with all the patients and visitors though very pressed for time. This does not adequately describe the atmosphere in the ward which must have been very reassuring for nervous, scared, feeling awful patients and visitors. Nothing was too much trouble.

The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. A staff member recently was intent on getting me logged on to a computer even though she was due to leave and it being a friday evening! I just wanted to show my appreciation by nominating them for a well deserved WOW award!! thankyou

receintly my husband got brought into sau, and the care she gave to him was exceptional, she made sure he understood everything that was going on and regularly checked in on him to make sure he was ok, she knew everything that was going on with all her patients, and after the doctor came around she poped back to make sure he understood everything that was going to happen and to see if there was any concerns, she knew more than the doctor and when we had to correct something that he had said she sorted it out and made sure that my husband had the right medication to take home with him, so that he wasnt in pain. my husband commented on how good she was, and he doesnt compliment easily. she made everyone feel at ease because of her knowledge and how she explained everything to the patients so that they understood what was happening and what was going to happen, she is a credit to the ward and the hospital. thank you very much sharon

Mr Maduli has a wonderful personality and disposition. He puts all his patients at ease and tends carefully to their needs. Mr Maduli is very approachable and takes time to answer questions his patients ask, therefore making them feel more at ease during their stay. In summing up, Mr Maduli is a credit to his profession.
