Jamies duty of care with our mum has been outstanding. He is not only like this with our mum but with all patients. Nothing is too much trouble for him given how busy they are on the ward and how much pressure the staff are under, his attitude does not reflect this, he always has a smile on his face and is more than willing to spend the time with the patients that need him. Every ward needs a Jamie!

Never having attended a pre-assessment at Medway, Grace explained all questions I asked, explained clearly about admission for my operation and after care. She is a cheerful lady and certainly makes you feel at ease.

Fay, a young energetic young nurse and a very caring person. I had an allergy to a drug, a Doctor saw me but Fay was very caring. My legs, arms and hand were hot and itchy, Fay covered the affected area with lotion to cool me down, she kept her eye on me although she was busy with other patients.

Amanda is an extremely professional nurse giving her patients 110 per cent care. I was very poorly for three days and Amanda recognised that I needed special medical attention which I got. Amanda watched over me like an Angel to make sure that I recovered. I thank her for all she did for me!

This young lady at the reception desk is a real gem. She is so helpful, kind and makes you feel good when you are not well. Please nominate her for an award, she really deserves it. Thank you very much.

I think she was very helpful and always very good. She took me for my scan on my head and was very helpful, always.

I would like to nominate all staff members of your hospital who helped me over my illness and I believe saved my life. There were so many people who looked after me it would be unfair to pick one person or team to give the Wow Award to because I think they all deserve an award, and a lot more. I would just like to say a big thank you to your staff and your hospital.

I would like to nominate everyone involved with my care on the morning of December 6th 2012 when I attended for a minor operation. Everyone was very professional, kind and reassuring. In particular William Norman and Jane Palos. William was very kind and reassuring and held my hand throughout the procedure explaining everything that was going to happen. He also made me laugh - I havent had much to laugh about recently ! Jane Palos was very professional and again reassuring - explaining everything that was happening and what I needed to do once I left the hospital.
