What can I say She makes being in hospital completely bearable. Coffee in the morning, breakfast, always a delight. Lunch always hot and pleasent. Always so happy, a wonderful woman that makes Pembroke ward an excellent ward. Thank you Pat, you are a star.

When my father was taken ill and needed emergency care Lee took care of me. Asking if I needed a drink, gave me a chair and keeping me informed at all times. A great guy!

This lady was so very helpful before she left she made sure that everything was done and that I was alright. I really hope she gets the top award as she is worth her weight in gold.

Rebecca is always smiling and gracious, she just has it all. Patience, being able to turn any awkward situation round to please all patients. Organising, making sure everyone has something to do. A very capable young lady who has helped my time at the gym to be so enjoyable.

Leila and the rest of the team have been exedingly helpful and understanding during my stay here, they did listen to me.

This young lady is very special. She is natural in her caring ways. She is very knowledgable about her nursing and portrays a very confident and efficient way. Only been on a very short time but my spirits have certainly been lifted by the cheerfulness and good natured (yet professional) attitude that pervades the staff. Must be difficult with us moaning minnies - but they succeed admirably.

Sam and the team have been very helpful during my time spent here. I felt I was important to them and made the best part of the 16 days in hospital pass quickly and cheerfully.

I brought my husband to A&E in the early morning of December 23 2012. He could not actually tell the doctor what was wrong with him as the symptoms were so confusing but Dr Haroon treated us with great kindness and patience with one irritable housewife and one incoherent patient who kept changing his mind about where the pain was. My husband was taken to x-ray and was there for some time and Dr Haroon went to find him and wheeled him back himself on the trolley. He was very reassuring that we were not being a nuisance and he took great patience in assessing the problem. Gerhard remained in hospital for a few days and was able to leave before our Christmas celebrations. At all times Dr Haroon was very kind and patient even to recovering my husband from the x-ray queue. It was a very worrying time for us, being so close to Christmas and the reason for illness seeming so obscure therefore the doctor's kindness was very helpful.
