Vimbai explained Diabetes and all of its complications so clearly, I felt in control, soon after listening to this lovely lady, all my questions were answered in simple terms with no mumbo jumbo and acrenims. I was allowed to interupt at any time I felt I'd missed something, she would immediately stop with a smile, showing patience and understanding, she would go over anything again without being patronising, and I simply enjoyed her company and the way she can educate and make things easy to understand.

I unfortunately experienced having a miscarriage. Caroline Wiseman went above and beyond to help me. She managed to fast track me from triage as I came through A&E at 10.30 on Monday 14th January. I was originally told that I may need to return the next day. Caroline asked Dr Habeeb to see me so that I could see whether or not I had had a miscarriage so that I would not have the agony of waiting to find out. This meant so much to me and I appreciated this very much. Dr Habeeb was also wonderful. He was very kind, empathetic and compassionate. He was able to assess the situation and dealt with it in a kind and caring way. Caroline also went out to get a Doctor for the afternoon clinic. Caroline is an asset to the NHS & Medway Hospital.

The care was very sympathic and attentive and helped me to create a postivie attitude to my recovery. (Breast Surgery)

I first met Robbie when I came to Victory Ward, I was depressed and talked which made me feel so much better about everything! He is such a good nurse who cares about everyone, he brightens the ward up with his presence. Nothing is to much for him. I have to come in to Victory Ward every so often knowing that Robbie is here makes it so much easier. He always has time for his patients. Thank you Robbie and Victory Ward.

From consultation with Mr Joshei through Pre-Assessment, through Surgery and after care in Pembroke Ward, Charge Nurse Florencio Maduli and staff including Physiotherapy most helpful in everyway to make my recovery easier.

I would like to nominate the nurses in who were on duty in Ocelot ward on Xmas Eve and Xmas morning. The care was above all expectations. Nothing was too much trouble and they made my stay as comfortable & pleasant as possible. The sister had even bought Xmas presents for the 3 of us who had stayed that night.

I have completed my chemotherapy today and the last 6 weeks have been very easy owing to the efforts of Rosie.
