A friend of mine, Yasmin, recently went to the doctors to have a swelling in her breast checked out, they thought it was just a cyst at first but the tests showed that it was actually breast cancer. Yes, it was as shocking and sudden as that. Yasmin is currently undergoing chemotherapy, after which will be surgery to remove whats left of the cancer hopefully for good; the chemotherapy takes a lot out of even the fittest person, the doctors actually advised Yasmin that she must eat a bar of chocolate each day to keep her energy levels up to withstand the side effects of the chemotherapy. Naturally, I wanted to help so sent some of her favourite Green & Blacks 85% dark chocolate, which she gratefully received; as Yasmin is a vegan she cannot eat just any old chocolate, it has to be produced using vegan-friendly ingredients and methods. Yasmin joked on her blog that she would love to be sponsored by Green & Blacks, so I took it upon myself to write to them in the hope that they may just send her a small gift of some chocolate; a few days later a representative of Cadburys / Green & Blacks emailed me back, requesting further details, which I duly gave them. A few days after that I got the message that a large delivery of chocolate was made to my friend Yasmins house! I cant express how grateful I am, not to mention how grateful Yasmin is, for this very kind gesture from a large corporation to an individual in their time of need. I loved Green & Blacks chocolate before this experience, now every time I eat a bar it is going to taste that bit better knowing what they did for my friend. Thank you Helen Stansbie for making this happen, and thank you Cadbury / Green & Blacks for making such delicious (and ethically produced) chocolate!

She very quickly investigated the full issue about my sports mix and sent me a reply within days explaining why there had been a problem and a voucher for the trouble it had caused. I was very happy with the polite and quick way they looked into this for me. This showed excellent customer service.

She was very polite at answering my email query. She went out of her way to help me. She gave me a freepost address to send back an out of date voucher to issue an in date voucher, when it was my fault it went out of date. For this reason I believe that she showed excellent customer service and went above and beyond to keep a customer happy.

Hello. I found an unusual item in my Jelly Babies, which I returned to your company. This Lady sent me a full explanation describing to me in english what is was and that it was safe although should not have been in the packet. she also told me that your QA department will get involved to prevent a reoccurrence. On top of that I received a voucher for free goodies. I was smiling, so a BIG thank you to Ms Grieve and to Cadbury.Regards John

I wrot to Cadbury back in April to say I was getting married and becoming a Mrs Bassett. I requested some photos of Bertie and Bettie as i was going to make some out of sugarpaste and add them to my wedding cake.My weddind day was 8th June and was a fantastic day, one I will never forget and I just wanted to pass on my thanks for supplying me some photos of Bertie and Betty Bassett.
