Wow, I now have an alternative to carob. I have been asking the question about caffeine in chocolate for some time. Cadburys is the only reply I have had telling me that white chocolate does not contain caffeine. Now I can enjoy chocolate again without any worries about my allergy. Perhaps Cadburys should use the information to advertise their Dream bar. There are quite a few of us out here with the proablem of caffeine sensitivity.

17187. All Staff on 25th October
On 25th october we went to our first family day with the Leigh Network. Our daughter Eve was diagnosed with Leighs disease 2 years ago and has been in palliative care for the last 2 months. We had never met with other families before. The event at Cadburys World only came to our attention a few weeks before it took place and Faye kindly extended a warm welcome to us. We are a complex family. I am disabled myself, and we have 5 children 4 of whom have complex needs. We had left our eldest two with carers as they would not have coped with the busy-ness of the day. However we had Eve, who is wheelchair dependent and ventilator dependent at times too, we also had Joshua who is blind and has a Guide Dog. And Christina, who i our healthy child but has servere anxiety issues and low self esteem. Christina took charge of the younger children in the group during our get together after the tour, providing colouring and art projects. All through the day from arrival to leaving the staff at Cadbury World were amazing. enabling us to sit together, in the cafe, not rushing us despite the other people coming in, the ladies in the queue for the tour recognising that there were going to be a fair few Wheelchairs and advising us on how to maximise our experience, allowing us to go on the previous tour rather than hold up the rest of our group as there were no wheelchairs in the previous tour. The Guide in the Theatres enabling us to get the best view, and then in the shop the staff were still supportive and helpful. We try to get out and about with our children as much as possible, 3 out of the 5 of them have life limiting conditions and so we always try to make the most of every day. However I dont think I have ever been anywhere that has made our day so enjoyable and taken away any stress quite so well as the staff at Cadbury World. Even Norris, the Guide Dog, was made welcome and taken care of in the areas we could mnot take him. Then as we entered the room where we were all meeting afterwards the staff were interested in how we found the ramp to enter into the room and were very concerened at how difficult it was to push the wheelchair up there. Well done all of you. It was a fantastic day and one that will remain a memory for us in the tough times ahead of us. Much love to all of you!

HiI just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that came to our assistance today. On a family day out my mother in law became ill in your cafe. From the second your first aider arrived, to the second we left the premises we were thoroughly looked after. Not just polite and helpful but really going out of their way to help, assist and re-assure us in every way possible. Even upstairs the young lady who was manning the ride went totally out of her way to help us.It really put us at ease on a day which could have turned into a disaster but thanks to all your wonderful staff (and the ambulance service) we managed to have a very fun day out. Many thanksRachael

I made my first ever visit to Cadbury World yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the diversity of what was on offer at what seemed to me a very reasonable entrance fee. Although all the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful, one guy stood miles out from the crowd! His name badge said Sam and he was working the second checkout from the right as you leave the shop. In a very friendly and engaging way, as he packed my purchases in a bag, asked me what was one thing I learned that I didnt know before. This brought us round to him telling me how many Creme Eggs are made each day and that this still doesnt meet demand, and a brief chat ensued while he completed the transaction. I myself work with the general public, having for fourteen years worked in various capacities in the bus industry. Faced with a ten-hour shift of the same faces asking for the same fares asking what might seem like pointless questions can be very taxing, and although I am particularly enthusiastic about my job, a product of being a bit of a bus nut, and go out of my way to get to know the timetables and ticket offers to benefit the passengers, somedays even for me it can become very tiresome and irritating. Im sure the same could be said for working a shop checkout in a tourist shop, but Sam certainly did not show any signs of flagging! He had a very friendly, polite manner and has very obviously been doing his homework on your history and products to the benefit of your visitors. I wouldnt normally write in to praise anyone in this fashion, but he really does stick well out from the crowd and is a credit to those who hired him! I hope to visit again soon. An excellent day out!
