About Burton Hospitals
We provide hospital-based services from four main sites:
- Queen's Hospital, Burton-upon-Trent - acute hospital services, including an Emergency Department
- The Treatment Centre, Burton-upon-Trent - a dedicated centre for day case surgery and treatments
- Samuel Johnson Community Hospital, Lichfield - local services, including a midwife-led maternity unit
- Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital, Tamworth - local services, including an endoscopy unit and minor injuries

We provide a wide range of services to a population of around 360,000 people across South Staffordshire, South Derbyshire and North West Leicestershire. The number of patients cared for each year in our hospitals is impressive - over 47,000 planned and emergency operations, more than 70,000 A&E attendances and around 13,000 daycase procedures.
